Problem with Canon Pixma 4300 inkjet. Orange alarm lamp flashes 10 times on switching printer on. Have tried plugging and unplugging power cord, and checked that there is no paper jam. Please help. Brian

Canon Printer Error B200 has been used very commonly by Canon Printer customers. The positive point, though, is that there is a procedure that you can pursue to handle and correct this error.

Canon Printer Error B200 on canon printers means that printing head voltage or printhead heat is not natural. In certain cases, Canon Printer Error B200 can either indicate that the print head has been broken and should not be used or that there is an issue with the cartridges.

Easy Solution of Canon Printer Error B200:-

1. Switch off the printer. Remain until the cartridge carrier returns on the side.
2. Switch On the printer.
3. Extract the cartridges. Check the nozzles and brush them if there's any clogged or dried ink.
4. Reinstall the cartridges.

Try to clean the encoder strip inside the printer,open the cover and clean it with your finger gently.hope it works

Issue: Alarm / Power light flashes orange 5 times consecutively (Print Head / Cartridge Error)
Solution: Install the print head and ink tanks correctly iP4500
Reseat the Print Head and ink tanks iP4500
Follow these steps to reset the printer:

1. Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
   
   
2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .
   
   
3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).
   
   
4. Turn the printer back on.

When the Power and Alarm lamps flash alternately, and P and number (error code) are alternately displayed on the LED, an error requiring servicing might have occurred.

Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Plug the power cord of the machine back in, and then turn on the machine. If the problem is not resolved, contact your Canon service representative.

Count how many times blinks orange lamp and check this error in this forum.

1. Press power button while plug in the power cord – green lamp.
2. While hold the power button press resume button twice – orange blink and return to green.
3. Release the power button, Then the PC will recognize new printer install.
4. You need the software for permanent reset.
5. Run the software and select printer port.
6. Then select Set Destination
7. Click MAIN and PLATEN button to reset waste ink counter to zero.
8. Finally test print by click TEST PATTERN button.
