Hi Adam,
I suspect that you are talking about the tray 2 pick up roller. Here are the directions for that:
1.)Remove paper tray
2.)Unlock left locking tab and rotate forward untill bushing slides off
3.)Remove black plastic roller retaining bracket
4.)Slide roller to the left untill right side of shaft clears the bushing
5.)Lift roller out of printer
6.)Place spring loaded end of roller shaft into left housing
7.)Slide roller to the right and rotate until roller locks into pickup shaft
8.)Reinstall black plastic roller retaining bracket. Left side first.
9.)Reinstall left bushing and lock into place

Let me know if you where sucessfull,
Printer Piete

I have an hp p3005 with the jam code 13.01.00. It has had the feed rollers and sep pads replaced. When it runs it appears to catch on the separation pad itself since it shows a small buckle in the middle...

Replaced seperation pad?. separation pad work is to block multiple paper feeding, but in yourcase paper not at all feeding means paper pickup roller not picking up the papers.replace both 2 & 3 paper pickup rollers..
See the snap shot, view from under.

I have problem with hp laserjet p3005 with paper jams inside fuser assembly, i already clean the rubber roller then still the same problem occure...please someone help me.....sorry for my bad english

If you are getting jams in the fuser, then there may be paper stuck in there, or the roller sleeve is damaged or the drive gear could be bad. You are going to have to take the rear cover off to look at the fuser.
Someone trained is going to have to remove the fuser to inspect it.

Paper is wrinkled on one side

Hewlett Packard P3005 Fuser

The HP P3005 fuser is located at the back of the printer.

The fuser has a thin film upper roller which can be torn, some symptons can be "Wrinkled Pages","Poor Fusing", "Toner Rubs Off the Page", "Pieces of black Plastic Come Out".

*** The printer should be unplugged from any power source before any servicing is performed ***

The rear cover can be taken off by removing 2 screws. Once the cover has been removed the fuser can be removed by taking out 4 screws and 3 electrical connections.

My HP Laserjet P3005 is almost 2 years old and needs a new fuser assembly. Is this normal? How much should this cost? Would I be better off buying a new printer

Hewlett Packard P3005 Fuser

The fuser is suppose to last up to 200,000 pages, however they rarely get that far.

HP LaserJet P3005 printer prints wrinkled paper

2 reasons:
1. Was there a paper jam prior to this problem? It could be that the paper was pulled out and a small bit of it is stuck on the pins that guide the paper from the heat roller. If no torn jammed paper prior to this issue, then check out 2.

2. the heater/roller is damaged and needs to be replaced. I would suggest you take it to your nearest HP dealer to properly diagnose this for you. This would save you unnecessary cost in trying to pull it apart and causing more damage to it.

Good Luck,

HP P3005 - skid marks along paper's edge

Print 3 pages. Use the manual feed tray. As they print, open the cover, remove the toner and look down at the paper in the printer. Do you see marks along the edge? If no...replace the fuser. If yes...it could be the transfer roller.
