I hope the there will be an indicator that wil tel you the position of the moisfged paper,
unplug the copier from the power socket, open the indicating unit and remove the paper, do not force the paper anti-clock, pull the paper through the normal running of the paper.

Keep getting misfed paper message. can't see paper

Check the paper tray. The part at the end of the paper might not be keeping the paper pushed to the front of the tray. Remove the tray and check the rollers that feeds the paper. They might be slick. Clean them with some WD-40 sprayed on a rag.

MISFED INDICATOR LIGHT FLASHING

There is no code to run.
Did the paper come out as an entire sheet? Or was it torn? There is either a small piece of paper that remains in the machine, or you dislodged a paper switch in removing the jam.
