How do I stop the water in my 2032

The only thing that comes to mind is the brew solenoid on the top of the machine. The gasket might be damaged or something is keeping it open.

Hello ,after using the machine, water keep dripping inside even I'm not using it, it has been doing that for several weeks, thanks for your help. alex

Hi Alex. Welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.

Water leaking by when the unit is supposed to be off is caused by water leaking by the inlet water valve diaphram.

Here is what you can do in an attempt to clear any internal debris of the water valve.

Both wall faucets off
1. Disconnect One hose from the water valve and remove the inlet screen by using a knife blade on the outer edge of the screen.
2, Reconnect that hose to the water valve.
3. Place the wall end of the hose in a bucket
4. Turn on the water at the wall for the hose that is still connected to the wall.
4. Select WARM wash and start a fill cycle. (Water will back flush into the bucket.
5. Use a hammer HANDLE and tap the hose connections of the water valve. (Your trying to losen the debris)
6. After a minute turn off the warm fill and the water faucet at the wall.
7. Disconnect the removed hose from the water valve and install the inlet screen AFTER cleaning the screen.
8 Reconnect the hose to the water valve and the wall connection.
9. Repeat steps 1 - 8 for remaining side.

If this does not stop the water drip then the water valve will have to be changed.

I will repost later the water valve part number and source.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Hubby says it could be a stuck button. Otherwise there could be a fault with your front control panel. Feel special, he's never come across that before!

The belt broke, it was replaced, but afterwards its overflows,

If water is overflowing check the small plastic line going from the bottom of the tank to the water level switch. It could be disconected. To check the water vales, set machine to fill, while the water is running into the tub unplug the power cord from the wall, the water should stop, if not the water valve is faulty.

You may need a new water valve. Turn the water off at the wall or source.

Replace the water vavle. You can go on line and order parts from almost any source. I like repairclinic and partselect go to Google and google your Manufactures name and parts, ex Maytag parts.

You will need your model and serial number.

My drum of my washing machine fills with water when it is not in use. i have moved the outlet pipe many times but it keeps on doing it. should there be a cut off valve to stop the water returning?

You probably have a bad water valve that the fill hoses attach too at the back of the washer, if the solenoid is stuck open the water won't stop unless you shut it off at the wall.
