Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the board that the power cord is hooked to.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again.I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.Thank You very much!

Very likely have blown fuses and capacitors in both the power supply and the backlight inverter sections. Repair is best left to a technician unless you are tech savy and able to use a soldering iron.

Have thin line of picture on right side of screen, rest is blank. Sound is fine

Hi,

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

I have an element 32" HD LCD TV. I turn it on and it goes to the blue logo screen, but then all of a sudden it just goes black after 2 seconds. No sound or picture. Help?

If you have a blinking led on the front panel, we will need the sequence of blinks.

If not, you should have the power supply checked.

NOTHING COMES ON

Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items called capacitors on the board that the power cord is hooked to.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again. Most of the time the big black capacitor on the power board goes bad,and bottom bulges out,but sometimes it is the other capacitors as well.I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know.Thank You very much!

Blue screen

Can you see the picture?Do you have sound? It could be either the TV is in the wrong mode,or it needs work.Try changing the mode on the remote to the TV function. If that doesn't work, open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the boards. If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again.I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know.Thank You very much!
