Windows7 known problems with scanner on instalation

Umax doesn't have drivers for the 3600 on their website:

install the driver again but don`t connect the scanner till it required it

May I ask for the brand, type and model name of your photo scanner?

Some scanner drivers are not compatable with Windows 7. Check with the brand to see if they have any drivers available.

Hi, I have found the driver for your BenQ 5000.

Click HERE to download the zip file, unzip and install. Since BenQ doesnt support windows7, try installing first and if you run into any problems, exit out and run in compatible to win xp. Should be fine though.

Sorry but the news aren't good. Indeed for your scanner (I suppose that the correct model is Astra 6700 and not Astra 5600) there isn't any driver available for Windows7. You have these options:
Work with WinXP up to release date of drivers for that scanner by Umax (an e-mail complaining about that is a good idea)
Use another windows7 compatible scanner
