when you change the ink cartridges you are NOT changing the print head. The print head is in the carrier. If the print head has become clogged or worn then usually it needs to be replaced. Unfortunately it us probably cheaper to buy a new printer.

Try unplugging it, wait for 5 minutes and plug it back in. If that does not work, uninstall & reinstall the printer software. Good Luck!

It appears that your printer's ink counter detected that the ink level on your ink cartridge has run out.

This error usually occurs if one of the ink cartridges run out of ink and have been refilled.

You will have to reset your printer. There are two possible ways to reset it.

1. Use a universal chip resetter to reset the smart chips on your ink cartridges. You will have to order this online.. http://www.1800savemart.com/epsonresetter.html

2. Use SSC Service Utility to clear the ink counter of your printer.
