i have a laser jet 3055 and it is showing the on lcd that document loaded error but printer is working fine only one problem that when i press copy and it start copy but it pick the paper from fax tray not from the scanner. how can i solved it plz tell me as soon as possible.

More than likely, it's telling you it can't find the imaging device. Meaning it doesn't have one at all or it could be the drivers aren't installed for the scanner and can't be accessed. Try installing all the software that came with it. I'll bet you're just missing a driver. Installing the complete software package should install the driver for you.
Have you used the COPY function on this unit before? If you have then it's just a driver issue. You can download the drivers from HPs website. Just go to the customer service>tech support>downloads area and just locate your model number and serial number and that should be that.
Once you've downloaded it to your desktop, doubleclick the icon and follow the onscreen directions, You might want make sure the scanner is plugged in to the body of the printer. It won't work without it being connected.
