Sound keeps cutting out. Have to reboot to get back. Please help

I have the Bose C5 Multimedia sound system. Whenever I play a video from the internet, my sound cuts out. I cannot get sound on any program until I reboot. I hear a buzzing sound why the PC starts up and then it works until it cuts out again after a few minutes of watching a video.

How can I fix this?

Thank you for your help.

Control pod failure on bose companion speakers , the sound stops

check your wiring connections, sounds like you may have intermittent connection somewhere, and this is the most likely culprit. be certain that all connections are solid. multi pin plugs are notorious for having one bad pin.

Problem with surround sound on JVC Th-C5 sound system

Not sure how you're hooked up or what model TV you're using. If you mean the TV sound through RCA cables is the source and you're wondering why it's not surround. Well, it's not multichannel. Please fill in some details.

Bose 312 Sound Cuts in and out

Most amplifiers design to cut out when there is an overload, such as playing the music too loud. It helps protect the device from being damaged. If the device does it at low volume, and does it sometimes, check the wring to the speaker, something might be shorting it out intermitently.

Sound cuts out from time to time

Hi, your system has some problem on the bass module which overheats the thermal sensors built in the bass module/subwoofer. I recommend that you bring the bass module to the Bose service center near your location.

That is the only solution...

No sound from my TV!! HELP!!

assume its a bose system 12 (non digital or digital ?)
if you clarify the model of both tv and bose system i will tell you precisely how to connect tv to bose system,

but i must assume first that your cable box is connected to your tv via a scart cable , you must remove sound function from the cable and plug directly into cd5 unit on either auxillary or video input , then turn cd5 unit to that channel to play sound and use bose reomte to control volume (ok)
i would doubt thatthe TV has a audio output, many dont.... also it may be necessary to buy a scart to RCA cable at your local electronics shop or supermarket to completet he task at hand.

if however you are digital.....
make sure you are connectiong bose digital input to a digital (dolby 5.1 compatible) sound source.

sorry if you think i have over simplified the problem !

respect
