Printer disply is in Japanese

I recently upgraded to the Mac 0S X Leopard operating system. I had to install new drivers before my scanner would work. Now my printer display reads in Japanese even though I requested English during the download. I removed the printer software and re-installed it but I still have the same problem. Has anybody experienced this and do you know how to fix it?

I tried upgrading the printer drivers and wound up with a Japanese Menu!

My menu is in Japanese now! How do I uninstall it and get it back to English?

Neat scanner not working since upgraded to Mavericks.

I'm using a software called VueScan, which works with lots of scanners without original driver installations. Maybe try it?

Hi,
Shortly after the world started upgrading to Snow Leopard, reports began emerging that many Hewlett-Packard printers were incompatible with the upgrade. So, you can wait till you get the updated driver which is compatible with Mac Snow leopard.
Good Luck!

Lexmark X2650 scanner in Mac OSX 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard)

You need to update your driver by getting the latest software in the Lexmark website here. During software update what usually gets updated are the basic functionalities. In this case it looks like the scanner is not being updated as well. Hope this helps.

How can I run my Visioneer OneTouch 8100 Scanner on my MacBook Pro? Is it possible to find drivers for this scanner to run on my Leopard Operating System?

Try their website, if they don't have any drivers find some for mac that are of a similar printer (not the same) and install those (they may or may not work) other wise you'll need to get a new scanner because it doesn't look like Visioneer supports mac

Mac upgrade means Xerox printer won't print!

There are apparently incompatibilities between some Xerox drivers and the security-improved Snow Leopard. It seems that many pieces of software (and drivers) relied on not-so-clean techniques to cut corners while operating. These techniques are no longer allowed by Snow Leopard (the same problem afflicts XP SP3, Vista and Seven).

This article lists several problems, explanation and (perhaps) fixes:

Meanwhile, Apple is working to some workarounds too (there is an update linked in the article which may be of interest to you).

Scanner won't operate on HP PSC1410 All in one with Leopard

Hi, as per HP's support page on this product here

It seems that there aren't any drivers compatible with Leopard for this printer at the moment. The latest OS supported is Mac OS X Tiger... You will have to wait untill HP do something for leopard...

Scanner won't operate on HP PSC1410 All in one with Leopard

The HP CD and web download were created before Mac OS X v10.5 development and release so there may be problems with the install process. They are yet to release new package to suit check here for details and updates

Also check this info on mac 10.5 with this printer.
