Can't hook up DVD player

I have a cable box and a Samsung DVD-V5500 player. How do I hook up the 3-part cable to the back of the player?

This could vary quite a bit depending on your TV. Does your TV have A/V inputs? If so, how many sets of them? Are they composite or component inputs or both types? If your TV has these inputs, you will need to use the right cable or cables to hook up the DVD player. For Composite Video, the cable will have 3 lines, with red, white and yellow male RCA jacks. For Component Video, you will need 2 cables, one for the left and right audio inputs, this will be a shielded cable with red and white male RCA jacks and a Component Video cable which will have red, green and blue male RCA jacks.
