Half/Full Duplex mismatch.
Bad cable, too long a cable
Bad network card in device
The occational error is not a problem. Constant errors on the same port indicate a problem with the cable or device on that port.

I Have a Sawgrass GS 1000 Printers Showing error sc 282-13 what could be the problem and how can I solve it..

Error SC 282-13 on a Sawgrass GS 1000 printer typically indicates that the printer is experiencing a problem with the print head assembly. Possible causes of this error include:
  1. A problem with the print head: The print head may be damaged or malfunctioning, causing the error to occur. If the print head is damaged, it will need to be replaced. If it is simply malfunctioning, cleaning the print head may resolve the issue. To clean the print head, follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific printer model. This may involve using a cleaning solution or simply running water over the print head.
  2. A problem with the print head cable: The cable that connects the print head to the printer may be damaged or not securely connected, causing the error to occur. If the cable is damaged, it will need to be replaced. If it is simply not securely connected, make sure that it is properly plugged in on both ends.
  3. A problem with the print head alignment: The print head may not be properly aligned, causing the error to occur. If the print head is not aligned correctly, the printer may not be able to print properly. To fix this issue, follow the manufacturer's instructions for aligning the print head. This may involve using the printer's built-in alignment tool or manually adjusting the print head position.
If the error persists after trying these steps, it is recommended to contact Sawgrass customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for service if necessary.

Error : 10-FC12-0002 comes up during Toshiba system rocovery what does it mean and how do i fix it?

I download this from the Toshiba support site:
While running a full system recovery from the Recovery Media, the installation may fail -- and display one of the error messages listed below. Possible causes of these error conditions are listed at right. Use this list as a troubleshooting guide -- not as an absolute list of causes, as there may be others.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC10-1710" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-0241" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive or defective memory.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-045D / 10-FC11-045D" -- may be caused by a faulty hard drive. *****
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC06-0002" -- may be caused by damaged recovery media or faulty hard drive.
"An error has occurred. ERROR :10-FC12-0970" -- may be caused by defective memory.
*for this error 10-FC12-045D u nid to call 1-800-457-7777 toshiba advance technical support they will send it to depot or they will recommend ASP (Authorized Service Partner)

I suppose your recovery disks could be bad. You can get another set from Toshiba. I'm also concerned about the health of the hard drive. Did you need to run recovery because the system crashed, because it may not have been an operating sysem crash but rather a hard drive crash. Have the harddrive or whole laptop checked by a reoutable repair person or check my website: www.micromendllc.com

Changed cartridge--now paper gets stops by cartridge carrier. turned on and off, reinstalled cartridge, cleaned roller.

Press the OK button.
- If paper is being fed at error occurrence, the
error is indicated after the paper is ejected.
- If the error occurs, the print head alignment
values are not changed.
- After exit from the error by the OK button,
the automatic print head alignment will not
be re-done.
The error will occur when the print head
alignment pattern is not printed due to no ink
or non-ejection of ink.

My Canon i860 just can't print out black words, it's frustrating

pull the ink cartage back out to see if a clear film is not on the cartage??? Check the area by cleaning the ink cartage with rubbing alchole, and also the area that the ink cartage goes into. Use a cotton ball the clean these area with.

I keep getting this message when I try to align the print head. An error occurred during automatic print head alignment. Press the printer's RESUME button to clear the error. Refer to the user's guide to...

The print head is the carriage that holds the ink cartridges and has tiny nozzles on the bottom that spray the ink on your paper. The nozzles have to be aimed (aligned) either automatically, or in WinXP with the following manual process:

1 Left click on the start button
2 Open "Printers and faxes" on the Start menu.
3 Find your printer on the printer list and right click on it once.
4 Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
5 Click on the "Maintenance" tab at the top of the new window.

A selection page for all sorts of upkeep items is then shown. Manual alignment of the print head is one of the choices.
