Strict NAT setting on XBOX 360

In order to open NAT settings for the xbox 360 you will need to enable Universal Plug N Play [UPnP]

To enable this setting in the Belkin DIR-628:

1. Log into the router
2. Click on the "Advanced" Menu on top
3. Click on the Enable UPnP: Checkbox
4. Click on the Save Settings Button

In your Router's administrator configuration, find the UPnP setting and make sure it is enabled.

If this does not fix it, you will need to open ports in your router. You'll need to open the following ports and forward them to your Xbox's IP Address:

• Port 88 (UDP)
• Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 80 (TCP)

PS3 and Xbox ( NON BELKIN)

You Will Have to Disable the Firewall In Your modem / Router

And IF it is a router then Open The Ports

• TCP 80
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074
• UDP 53
• TCP 53

And also make sure that UPnP is Enabled

I have this router and have just enabled the NAT settings from Strict to Open:-

1. Log into router's IP address (192.168.1.1) and enter password. Select "Advanced Setup".

2. Click on Advanced on left hand menu and select UPnP

3. Check all three boxes in window and click on Apply

4. Close router configuration window and run XBox test again. Worked for me!

again give it then save it then reboot it the router then try it

Step 1 : Check the IP Addressof the Xbox And take a note of it

Step 2 : Open RSP By typing 192.168.2.1 on the Address bar of the internet explorer

Step 3 : On the left side Click Firewall

Step 4 : Leave the Password blank and click Submit

Step 5 : Disable it And Apply Changes

Step 6 : On the left side Under Firewall Click DMZ

Step 7 : Add the IP Address of the XboX in DMZ

Step 8 : Click Apply Changes

Step 9 : Restart the Router

Step 10 : Test the Connection

I to am having the same problem

The ports will need to be opened in your router, you can also try enabling DMZ

Please read the documentation that came with your router to figure out how to enable port forwarding, if you don't have a hard copy of a user manual, it should be included on a CD and its also available online.

Has your Xbox IP changed any?

Your on a DHCP right?
