Who is your ISP (internet service provider)? Anyway, it is possible to get your set up working. ZyXel is the DSL modem gateway and Linksys, your router/wifi. If you are able to get online by hooking up directly to the Zyxel, then it is possible to add the Linksys to the system.Dont hook up the Zyxel to the Internet port of Linksys just yet. First you have to configure the Linksys by connecting your PC to it with a cable. Boot up the PC. Open web browser and enter the address 192.168.1.1 and hit enter. This is the default address of the Linksys. username = admin and no password. It is probably the same as the Zyxel which causes the conflict.The first set up page may look something like this below.Change the LAN IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1Then click apply...From now on the Linksys IP address is 192.168.2.1.Now you can connect the Linksys internet port to the Zyxel. Reboot the Linksys and Zyxel. Your PC should be on the internet after that. To check/setup wifi, you need to log back into the Linksys using the new adress x.x.2.1

Check to see if your router has a firewall enabled.

Reset and reconfigure the router.

If ur DSL in not green that means problem with the service provider. So, just contact with the service provider

First of, unplug your Linksys and go right into your ZyXEL, (you might need to run a cable) Run that way for a while, If your not cut off then it's your router. Do this first and we can go from there.

First of all good purchase, i use similar router P-660HW-D1 as it supports SNMP for monitoring and log server features.

Have you tried the wizard ? did it give any errors ?

I had issues with AOL a year back for a friend and we were never able to get a ZyXel working over the connection, hopefully this has changed and they are now using standard ADSL authentication.

On the home page of your router there is a "packet status" link click that and it will give you info about the link status. Also look in the log for any PPP activity and reply to this thread with the info it contains if it does not work.

you have to TURN ON both FIREWALL AND NAT, and then configure the nat forwarding + firewall rule and then it will work
it's a known bug @ zy boxes

reset the router or contact your internet provider...could be something with the router.

If your DSL light goes off and comes back after sometime...then there is a possibility of issue with your Broadband service provider....there may be some outtage in your area.

1. In order to confirm check the phone status when there is an issue?
2. switch off and switch on the CPE ( some CPE has this issue)

Have you tried using a proxy server on the computer that's connected to the ZyXel P-600? Using a proxy server makes it possible to share an Internet Connection on a LAN. A good free proxy server can be downloaded from the analogX web site:
http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/Network/proxy/Freeware.htm

The browsers on the other computers need to be setup to use the proxy server machine address. Search for 'proxy' on the browser's help menu option to determine how to do it (very simple).

Change the Channel and Security type

Test if router is the culprit , connect the dsl modem direct to the PC first...

Either you are connected to a different wireless network or the connection from the modem to the router is incorrect.... Make sure that the other end of the cable from the modem is connected to the WAN/Internet port of the router. If you have this kind of connection already, try checking the TCP/IP properties of the computer connected to the LAN port, make sure that it is set to obtain an IP address automatically...

The power light and all other lights blink when the ZyXel P-600 is initializing. The ethernet, dsl and internet lights blink when data transfer is detected. The lights are from left to right:
* Power Light
* Ethernet Light
* DSL Light
* Internet Light
