Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player Logo
Posted on Feb 24, 2018

I attach my mp3 player to the computer. Rhapsody says it is ready to transfer music. However, my mp3 player does not show that it is ready to transfer. It doesn't come on with the + or - like the one I had before. It won't show anything when you right click on the options or disconnect.

SOURCE: How do I transfer music into the MP3 Player from rhapsody list?

First, read your manual.
Second, find the name of the folder that the Rhapsody songs are stored in, and copy them or move them to the "My Music" folder on your computer. If you are handy with computers, instead of moving the Rhapsody songs to the My Music folder, go into Windows Media Player instead - click the arrow underneath the Library tab, and select "More Options" --> Library --> Monitor Folders --> Add the Rhapsody folder to your list of folders.
Third, make sure you have Windows Media Player installed on your computer, since that is the program you will be using to transfer the songs. Click on the Library tab, and make sure that the songs show up on your computer. Once you see them, click on the Sync tab and start dragging the songs (no more than 10 songs in one sitting) to the window that says "Drag files here to synchronize..."). Click Start Sync.

Warning: Some GoGear models recognize Rhapsody songs and others do not. If you have Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service, then you are in the clear no matter what model of GoGear you have. If you have one of Rhapsody's other subscriptions, you may be in trouble. If your Go Gear is truly an SA6045, it will recognize DRM-protected Rhapsody songs, so you will be OK. If you have an SA3025 or one of the newer models, you will only be able to successfully transfer songs by signing up for Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service.

SOURCE: how do i convert my rhapsody music files to play on my mp3

You have to get Rhapsody's Mp3 only service - I repeat, MP3 ONLY. No other level of Rhapsody service will work with the newer Philips' GoGear's - which is funny, b/c Philips co-branded with Rhapsody on the newer players.

SOURCE: Attach ablum art to mp3?

I just figured this out on my own. I used MP3tag to attach the picture (JPEG) to the mp3/wma file and transfered without windows media player.
Drag and drop should be fine. Never used WMP 11 for this! It didn't work. For me at least.

SOURCE: I have a Gogear aria black phillips 8bg mp3 player..playlist help

This is a good little player (although I don't kow why tey dont' include the actual manual for it)

It took me a bit BUT I found the manual online:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa1ara08k_97/sa1ara08k_97_dfu_eng.pdf

After you've created and saved your playlists...then clear the sync pane.

Then on the far left where all your playlist names are...highlight the ones you want and drag them into the sync menu. then click "Start sync".

After it's done I promise you all your playlists will be there complete with the music you added to the list

SOURCE: Creating Playlists for GoGear Aria 8gb player

If you want to make a new playlist for your 8 gig GoGear Aria, all you have to do is highlight the songs you want to add, then right click the mouse and choose create playlist. Name the new playlist then cut and paste it into "Playlist" in the music choices and there you go. No WMP needed.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Sansa 250 - Having problems downloading music?

You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
