I have been trying to fix our PT-AE300U. The lamp

I have been trying to fix our PT-AE300U. The lamp light came on. We replaced the bulb in it trying to fix the situation. After that the picture would not show up followed by the lamp light flashing red again. Usually the power light will come on green, stay solid for a while, then begin to blink followed shortly by the lamp light flashing red. Following that the lamp light will start to flash amber then turns red eventualy.

I tried everything to diagnose the situation. I ttried swaping the bulbs, readjusting the screws, made sure that the bulb was placed and connected properly, cleaned the filters, cleaned out the projectors, re-established all the connections for video inpuy and made sure that the lamp cover was placed on correctly. Still after that no picture and a red flashing bulb light.

Any suggestions?!

Same here. My model is PT-AX200E.

Changed bulb yesterday and it worked fine until I shut my projector off. Today it wouldn't start again.

I opened the whole compartment (not just the bulb change slot) and blowed the dust off. Little bit rough handling and miraculously it started turned on just right.

Played couple of hours and turned it off and now it won't start again.

Frustating. I suspect some kind of circuit problem which manual suggest one reason for such behavior. Loose circuit or leaking condensator or something.

Here is service manual for Panasonic

Might be broken heat sensor also.

It's not bulb problem for sure.

PT-AX200U Bulb replaced 4 months ago Was on about

carefully take the lamp cover off, and see if there is any glass pieces inside. if all looks Ok, then unscrew the lamp housing and remove the lamp. check for any damage. be careful not to damage the lamp or bump it. These lamps generally contain mercury vapour, so try not to inhale anything if it's broken.

My Panasonic PT-61LCZ70 keeps shuting off

Most likely problem is bulb failure. Replacing the bulb is first step in any LCD rear Projection troubleshooting.

PT-61LCZ70 has a special "Super Dooper" long life lamp that costs a ton to replace. US users have 5 year warranty on the lamp assembly. Canada users can whistle for help from Panasonic Canada. There is no replacement bulb available, only expensive lamp assembly.

TV has to be completely taken apart to change the lamp. Panasonic service information is 12+ pages for lamp change instruction.

Check Panasonic Lamp Gallery for an image of this lamp assembly.

Need to replace bulb in lcd panasonic

After lamp replacement, make sure that lamp cover is properly fixed on its location and if TV still does not turn On then it is ballast power supply issue, qualified TV tech will fix it.
If you think you can repair ballast supply and have enough knowledge about TV repair, let me know to provide you technical info about that.

Panasonic TV pt-50lc13 bulb replacement

Take the bulb out, there should be a access panel in the front, power the set on,(be sure to have the lamp door closed) if you hear a rapid ticking noise from the set, the Ballast is trying to fire the lamp, this is a good indication that the set is functional but the lamp needs to be replaced. If not, the ballast is not getting the voltage needed to start the lamp.

My PT-45LC12 has picture and fan problems

More like lamp failure. Could be other things of course but start with the lamp cause it will need it anyway if has been a couple years.
Projection TV makers charge an arm and a leg for their replacement lamps. They make it easy to do but as a result the custom lamp assy is expensive. The trick is to just buy the bulb for your model TV from any number of us aftermarket sources at a fraction of the lamp price and install it in the old lamp yourself. really easy. Some models are real bulb hogs though. Look them up on the net (include the word complaint or repair) before you buy, or you might be sorry. Many class action lawsuits out there - even against some of the name brand makers.
Hope ya fix it!
