If the device is Android, try:

1. Turn up your media volume
2. Enable media audio
3. Disable nearby device scanning
4. Reset network settings

If the device is iOS, try:

1. Remove music volume level limit
2. Update your device
3. Disconnect and reconnect your Bluetooth headphones
4. Disable automatic ear detection (for Airpods)

If the device is PC, try:

1. Enable Bluetooth Support Service
2. Set your default playback device
3. Check your volume levels
4. Update your Audio Driver
5. Run your Troubleshooting tool
6. Check audio problems in Device Manager

If none of them work, your Bluetooth earbuds might be broken. You need to change a new pair. If you need recommendations, see: 10 Best Wireless Earbuds

Make sure that the pair on your output device states paired for phone and music. It can still pair for phone and data but not pair to stream music. This is common on android devices especially. If this be the case, unpair the device and forget (delete) the earbuds on your output device. Ensure any bluetooth devices like amazon Alexa, TVs and other common things are powered down. Turn the bluetooth on the output device off, then back on. Search for earbuds and follow manufacturer procedures to sync earbuds. Once found, pair. Ensure when a successful pair happens that they are paired for phone and music. It will tell you on the output device if the pair was successful for both. At this point make sure your volume settings are not muted or all the way down and you should be enjoying music if you have an app playing music.

SOURCE: bluetooth "device out of range or powered off"

I had lots of trouble too. I thought it was my phone. Well here's what you do. First off remove the device completely from your phone. Turn off the phone and take the battery off so it can re-boot. When the phone is powered back up put your bluetooth in pairing mode and get it back on your phone. It should connect without any problems. Now....here is the trick. When you want to disconnect the device(bluetooth) from your phone don't turn it off on your phone. Shut the actual power off on your bluetooth. The phone will recognize this and disconnect the device. The only thing left on your phone will be the bluetooth icon. Being the icon still on your phone it is still in discovery mode and can overtime use up your battery life searching for a device. This is when you can go to your phone and turn off the bluetooth. On your NV 2 go to your bluetooth menu and just use your left softkeyto turn it off. Now there is no connection whatsoever. And to turn it back on do the opposite. Go to your bluetooth menu and turn on your bluetooth. You will see the bluetooth icon. Now you power up the bluetooth and it will connect as soon as it get the signal. This took me 2 weeks of trial and error and other stuff but I am happy now and I hope this solves any bluetooth problems...

make sure your headset is the only bluetooth device and then go into your bluetooth properties -> audio -> select your headset and press connect
now go into your sound options and it should be listed there if it connected succesfully. set if as default and remember to restart the music programm youre running

My iHip Bluetooth ear pods are not bluetoothing.

To pair with bluetooth, it depends on your model (TWS, SoundPods)
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your device
  • Remove one or both earbuds from the charging dock. The earbuds will have a flashing blue and red light indicating they are ready to pair
  • Long press the multi-function button for 3 seconds to power SoundPods on. When the Earbud LED Indicators flash red and blue, they are ready to be paired.

    HOW to link wireless earbuds

    1. Go to your Phone's home screen and find the "Settings" icon.
    2. Click on the "General" button under Settings.
    3. Find the "Bluetooth" option and slide it over to turn the function on.
    4. Your iPhone should find the device once this is enabled and should show the device name on screen. When it does that, you will need to hit the "Pair" button in order for the devices to sync. You may need to enter a four-digit password, which is provided with your wireless device.
    5. Once that is entered, hit "Connect" on your iPhone to complete the setup. Your headphones should now be working properly.

You'll have to look up specific instructions for your device by searching the model number. The pairing code will likely be 0000 or 1234

My Bluetooth is stop pairing with my ipad

To get help pairing a Bluetooth accessory-like a wireless keyboard-to your iOS device, try these steps:

    1) On your iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure that Bluetooth is on. If you can't turn on Bluetooth or you see a spinning gear, restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Then try to pair and connect it again.

    2) Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory and iOS device are close to each other.
    3) Turn your Bluetooth accessory off and back on again.
    4) Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If your accessory uses batteries, see if they need to be replaced.

If you still can't pair or connect your Bluetooth accessory.

    1) If you previously connected your Bluetooth accessory to your iOS device, unpair the accessory, put it back in discovery mode, then try to pair and connect it again.
    2) If you can pair your accessory with some devices but not your iOS device, unpair the accessory from your other devices. Then try to pair with your iOS device again.
    3) Check with the accessory manufacturer to make sure that your accessory supports your iOS device.
    4) If you still have any of these issues, contact Apple Support:
You can't turn on Bluetooth or the setting is grayed out.
You can't connect any Bluetooth accessories with your device.
The accessory manufacturer confirmed that your accessory is working correctly.

How do I pair iHip wireless earbuds?

You CAN pair your iHip wireless, Bluetooth earbuds. The trick is not to take the third step as is. This is the second day I tried to pair these so I hear sound out of both the buds. Watched videos, read online fixes, etc. The first step, to turn them each on individually until you hear 'connected' is fine. The second step, to only hold the on/off button of ONE of the buds, is good also. The third step, to 'double click ONE until it connects to the other' is where things don't work. You have to click multiple times until it tells you it has connected to the other bud. Then go to your BT device, turn it on, and you will only see ONE Soundprod connection instead of two. After that, full stereo sound from the buds sounds great! Hope this helps.
