Chapter 1 shows the meaning of the Control Panel lights. One green light lit sounds like normal operation. You must connect a USB cable to the computer and download/install the printer driver

Download the appropriate driver matching your operating system.
Connect your printer to your PC.
Turn on the power.
Windows should look for the driver for the new device; if it can not find be prepared to point to the folder where you downloaded the driver.
