Your carb seems to be flooding. You might want to adjust the carb inflow line.

SOURCE: I have a husqvarna 55. I put in a new carb, coil,

If you are still having problems I would check or replace white grommet inserted into cylinder and connected to manifold, they have issues with breaking or blowing out. This model also has problems with the black intake boot not sealing around cylinder and manifold,an easy check by spraying a LITTLE carb cleaner around problem area.

The plastic carb mount has a hole and a slot, this is the pulse channel from the cylinder to work the pump diaphram in the carb, if you look behind the plastic plate there is a tube that fits into the cylinder under the black induction rubber, this feeds a positive and negative pressure to the carb as the piston rises and falls, make sure you have re fitted the small seal in the cylinder that seals this tube or you will have big running problems.

Saw idles somewhat but bogs down and quits (no power) when using throttle

check fuel filter, fuel tank vent, air filter, main jets could be blocked, leak in the fuel line between carb and tank, diaphragms fatigued in carb.

I had a very similar problem with a stihl 029 farm boss.I did everything you did except I took it to a shop to do the piston and ring replacement. When I got it back the first time it would run for about two mins. then die.I fought it for a couple of weeks then took it back and expressed my displeasure. Then checked it all over and replaced piston and ring again and it runs great. They told me they could not get the right compression with the first one and thought the groove for the ring was cut to deep.I hope this is of some help to you. Thank you.

My 455 rancher bogs down when i give it gas it's not even under a load new plug air filter, fuel filter, made carb adjustments like manual said running 93 octane gas.it,s still bogging

Make sure the chain break is releasing all the way. When the saw is not running release the chain break and make sure you can move the chain back and forth by hand. If you can there is a small fuel filter in the gas tank that should be replaced. Make sure the fuel lines are not spongy because they could collasp when the engine is running starving the carburetor for fuel.

While cutting the chainsaw bogs down and stops

Check the air filter and the muffler if either are plugged up it will not run smooth. Carb hi and low screws are very sensitive so if you change them, only move them a little at a time.

I have a husqvarna 55. I put in a new carb, coil,

Preset both needles about 1-1/2 to 2 turns CCW from CW stop. Set H needle first after warm-up. At high speed, engine should 4-stroke with no load, but smooth out with light load(cutting wood). Set idle speed so that it will keep running, then adjust L needle so that engine tries to follow the throttle, but idles fairly smoothly. Readjust idle speed so that the clutch is not trying to drive the chain.
