I need a Canon Vixia HF20 USB driver. I have an Intel Desktop Board DG45ID with an Intel quad core processor running Windows 7 Ultimate. I would like to look at the camcorder as a mass storage device.

They run on Linux. There is a BIOS, but I don't know if it's locked out though.

Unless you can find a way to upgrade the SSD,
Windows 7 fills up 30GB by itself, 8/8.1/10 are also out of the question. None of these work well with only 2GB memory either.
You might be able to run Windows XP on the 32GB Silver.

Be sure that you have installed he driver correctly ..and the cable is well plugged...,another thing to check is the camera's display and see if it asks for a connection confirmation in the moment you plug it in ...if it does..choose PC connect ..and after that will work ..
also check into the device manager and see if the camera is present there ..even if it appears in yellow with an ask sign on it ...this meaning that the driver is not installed or damaged or not the proper one..

select the operation system ..download ..reinstall and go for it ...but first check what I suggested..

You need to go to Device manager, remove ALL USB devices the whole thing.. remove and uninstall driver. then, reboot. Now at next desktop, try using the USB stick then, this often "Fixes" any problems. (Windows will auto-install the entire USB layer all again at boot up)
