Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Mike

The answer to finding the cause of the leak is where we need to begin. Most start in the freezer section behind the rear panel where the defrost condensate is drained during defrost. Sometimes the drain hole freezes over and the water drains down into the freezer creating a large area of frozen water. Other times i happens as the water leaves the drain in the freezer and follows its path to the pan below your refrigerator to re evaporate into the air inside your home. If leaking inside the fresh food compartment then the cup behind the control panel may be over flowing and leaking down the back wall of the refrigerator and will need to be taken apart and cleaned to allow the water to continue down to the pan below the refrigerator. Sludge and dust or even ice may be blocking this line. Below is a link to a page that may help you resolve and fix this. If you have more questions feel free to let me know. How do I turn off and reset side-by-side Subzero fridge, to vacuum condenser?

Usually vacuum condenser light is on, not because of condenser coils dirty, but low on refrigerant unit, so compressor is running longer then usually. You can shut your subzero off at breaker box, if light will keep coming on in day or two, you will need to call service to replace evaporator. Most likely evaporator in Fresh food section has leak(at list its most common place). Check this video I made, even if Your Sub Zero sideXside it still will look the same about changing evaporator. Hope that was helpful.

ICE IS FORMONG ON THE BACK WALL OF A SIDE BY SIDE SUB ZERO REFIGERATOR.

This is typically a problem with the sealed system (refrigerant leak). Usually a circular patch of ice or water driplets half way down on the back wall. The solution involves replacing the evaporator coil. Subzero will give partial warranty up to 12 years.Full warranty for 5.A subzero authorized company is recomended.

We have been getting service code 50 for our SubZero -- it;s a 690 model fridge/freezer. I cleaned everything however over last three weeks the error repeats. I reset the board by pulling power from the...

Error code 50 means excessive refrierator section compressor run. Possible causes include: dirty condenser, stopped condenser motor, faulty termistor or an evaporator refrigerant leak. If it is a refrigerant leak it usually shows up as frost or water driplets half way down on the back wall. Clear codes by holding the alarm button in for 15 seconds.

Sub-zero not keeping cold. It will cycle on and cool properly, then after a while the temp goes up to near 50 and it takes too long to cycle on to cool down again.

Call a subzero repairman. My subzero had a leak in the refrigerant coolant tubing. Trust me, only a trained and equipped repairman has a prayer of fixing this.

Subzero model #561, freezer is warm, water leak

Check to see if the freezer fan is running. Push in the two switches at the top. The light should go out and if the freezer is powered on the fan should come on. The icemaker runs on temperature so no cold means no ice. Check for ice build up around the evaporator. Could be a defrost issue or a sealed system problem. As for the water, is it the floor of the unit or the floor of the house? Is the drippan in place or sitting on the floor? Also check the condenser fan motor. If this is all greek to you, you should probably call a factory authorized servicer.

Condensation and water in refrigerator

It sounds like you need someone who knows what they are doing out to your house. A tech should find and repair or replace the component that leaks. A second trip should be not be needed. The fact you have mold tells me they have never properly did your repair. Mold will grow only when the cavity gets above 40 degrees for a sustained period of time. use http://www.subzero.com/locator/locator.aspx?type=0&zip=02030 or call 800-222-7820 and explain the situation and get another company to fix it right.
