Strange it remains closed on one stage? Usually a door that opens by itself is due to misalignment, and then gain water will leak onto the floor. If someone banged into the side of the door and moved the washer a slight bit, the locking tab under the work counter may not be in a positive position. If the tab is bent slightly up, the door may barely make contact and lock when in operation. A simple movement of the washer could pop the door open. Other than that, any electrical dysfunction would require a professional servicemans attention.

If you hear the motor running when it is to be draining you may have a busted pump impeller. Also locate and check the round looking cap it will move up and down by your hand pull it up if it is stuck at the bottom this is your float level it goes up and down with the water level the pump will not switch over if it is stuck on the bottom if it is stuck it is telling the dishwasher it is empty of water. and last but not least your wash timer may be out.

Your input panel needs to be serviced. Please try to change the AC outlet location first before attempting the service yourself. If your still experiencing problems, then remove the front panel to locate the the soldered joints behind the power button. There is a relay which may be worn and can be changed by you. You may find the area covered in rust and oxidized. If this is the case, then we have found the root cause behind your problem and will need to change out the bad part. Take off lower spray arm there is a spay hole underneath if its blocked the tablet gets left in the bottom. also check the filter is not split as rercycled food deposits is the cause of the blockage. short programme is not suitable for tablets,

I assume you are refering to the earth leakage circuit breaker. This trips when a earth leak fault has occured. The normal cause for this could be
A) Water leaking via a pipe at the bottom comming in contact with one of the electric motors at the base of the washer.
B) A heating element has gone faulty with a electrical leak to earth.
You need to test this with a multimeter on the OHMS scale and rectify any short to earth that the meter would indicate.

I assume that this leak is from the flat tank on the side of the machiene. Any water leak to the bottom of the machiene puts the washer in ANTI FLOOD mode with the pump out motor activated. You can remove the flat tank by disconnecting the hoses to it and pulling it upwards. If you find a small leak just run it over with a hot soldering iron to melt closed the small leak. Also note that this tank has a small outlet pipe that deliberatly discharges water to the anti flood device (polystireen float / micro switch at the base of washer) in case of a fault (blocked pipe / leak etc).

Hello everyone. Have just fixed a problem with my aeg dishwasher thanks to this site. My anti flood switch in, so I unpluged, pulled the machine out, tilted it, wiggled the outlet hose, which I think was a little kinked and way hay it works. Thanks FIX YA. Good luck everyone. Carolyn

you should check first that power is going to the dispensor at the appropiate part of the cycle. to get at the dispensor, split the door - its screwed together by screws round the periphery. dispensor is just held in by usually 6 obvious screws
