1, To solve the faded print problem, follow the steps given below.
2, Use the genuine HP toner. The HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP toners.
3, Make sure that the papers used for printing are appropriate for the print job.
4, Make sure that the print settings are aligned correctly to your print job.
5, You can check the settings from the Properties option on your computer.
6, Check the status of the ink level and replace low or empty cartridges.
7, Check for any damages on the printhead. If it is damaged, replace the printhead.

Sometimes if the page from the printer comes out faded it seems like the ink is low if not you will have to change the printer settings so it will print full dark ink on page. there are settings to print a draft or full dark print out. see if it is set on draft

SOURCE: faded stripe down the printed page

I found a solution that worked to eliminate the faded black stripe down the page thanks to a post by slamfix in another forum. The problem is related to ink build up on the blade edge of the black developer assembly in the imaging unit (the imaging unit contains 4 separate developers - yellow, blue, magenta, and black). The solution involves taking out the imaging unit, removing and cleaning the blade edge of the black ink developer until smooth. It took me about 15 minutes to complete and was fairly straightforward.

Faded Stripe in the middle of the page

You need to clean the drum When I was working for the City There was the same problem with the Laser printers. Check the Manuel and see if there is a page on cleaning the print drum on your machine. Also you may try Talking the cartage out cleaning there as well It seems you are picking this up form somewhere after the print My Guess would be the print drum? You may also have to replace the drum as well. I am guessing that this is a laser printer? if not then there are other solutions.
