SOURCE: AEG DISHWASHER, DOES NOT HEAT WATER.

I had this same problem on our AEG dishwasher. The reason was on the controller board. There is one relay switch which drives the heater element. One of the legs of that relay box was disconnecteds from the circuitboard. Check this out.

SOURCE: The ribbed drain hose on

These drain hoses are universal types except that the connectors may differ. The different types of these hose - flexible ribbed- are found in almost all the stores that cater to pneumatic products.
Also you can source the original type from any dishwater/washing machine spares parts stores.
The hose can be removed after releasing the holding clamps and releasing the hose-- pull out .
Since these hoses are slightly flexible they are pushed into the drain ports and clamped.
you can get a good picture of this if the washer is moved forward.
Also take the hose along so that the store will recognize the product and make it easier.
In most cases the hoses are cheaper if they are sourced from the tubing shops than from the dishwasher spares store.

Aeg 60870 dishwasher water not getting in

The most common cause of a fault "i10" is closed valve on the water supply line. So this failure indicates a problem with filling of water.
Possible error causes:
Closed water tap, Inlet valve faulty, inlet hose bent, softener system clogged, pressure switch or pressure switch hose obstructed or leaking, wiring from pressure switch to printed circuit board (PCB), wiring from inlet valve to PCB and finally PCB.

Why my AEG F55080vi stops after drain cycle (program beginning) and then it stops and I hear 2 beeps and 2 flash continuously?

Definitely, water drain time-out. Error code i20.
The pressure switch doesn't return to EMPTY (1-2) after two drain phases lasting 120 seconds.
Possible causes:
Drain circuit obstructed/blocked; drain pump
interrupted or jammed (foreign bodies); level
pressure switch blocked on FULL (1-3); hydraulic
circuit of pressure switch obstructed; wiring faulty;
circuit board faulty.

Thanks to your detailed description of failure I conclude that in drain phase (after starts drain pump) leaks water and causing a short circuit. I would thoroughly reviewed drain hydraulic circuit. If is alarm displayed and there is no water inside dishwasher then check heater and anti-interference suppressor.

Aeg slimline dishwasher 64800. AL5 alarm, but fills up

This control procedure is in operation only during the cold wash and heating phases.
  • Once the pressure switch has closed in the "full" position, it must remain "full" until the subsequent drain phase; if the pressure switch signals "empty", the fill solenoid is activated for a period equivalent to the period of aperture of the pressure switch.
  • The maximum aperture time for the pressure switch (T) during the entire phase is 60 seconds; if this period is exceeded, an alarm condition is generated.
Alarm: AL5

Possible causes:
  1. Dishes upside down
  2. Central filter clogged
  3. Siphon effect created in drain hose
  4. Leakage in sump - pressure switch tube.

AEG Dishwasher 60820 Sensorlogic Delay timer stuck on 1Hr

This does sound like a problem with the "anti-flood" device that does detect water (leak / spill) at the base of the washer. This device is a protection device that consists of a polystirene float and a micro swithch. Once a water leak od spill is detected it automatically puts the washer in pump out mode. You need to determine if a leak exists that has caused the float to trigger the micro switch and clear the water / leak. This should put the washer back to normal.
However if the senslogic (pc board) has a program fault, the cost of this board = half the cost of a new washer ......

Dishwasher failed to drain, have emptied m/c manually & it now will not start

Hi.
The pump must be accessed, removing the hose from pump and checking from blockage.
Check the float sensor, and the pressure sensor, this devices are used to determine the water level, and if they are defective they may cause machine not draining.
If the machine does not start at all, check circuit breaker, check the fuse on power cord if cord is fused, and ensure the door lock is working.
If still no luck I suggest ringing AEG at the number listed on the owners manual.

AEG Favorite Compact 525 Dishwasher. The pump runs continuously even when the on/off button is pressed. any ideas

This is caused by the Anti-Flood device at the base of the machiene being activated. This device detects water leaks and is a polystireene float / micro switch that puts the machiene in pump out mode only. You need to determine where the leak comes from (pipe or perforated hose pin hole or pipe clamp etc.) If you tilt the washer and some water comes out from the bottom it is a clear indication that there is a small leak.
