SOURCE: incompatible print cartridges?
Hi,
just click on them to say ok, and accept the unsupported cartridges ( if applicable ) do you get the choice.
certain printers, have an option in printer prefs, to change cartridges. check the cartridges are the same ( or compatable )
if the cartridges have a chip fitted, they need to be reset if recently filled.
hope this helps mike @ Compurepair.
SOURCE: align cartridges error
This means one of the cartridges is defective, they cant align if they cant print. What i did to fix this problem is insert 2 working cartridges and get it to align properly, even if they are low on ink, then lift the cover and the cartridges will move to the center. When this happens pull the power cable out, then insert the full non functioning cartridge. Plug the power cable back in. I tried this with a color cartridge, the color cartridge was non functioning but i was able to print in black.
Basically you align the cartridges and then swap them so the printer thinks they are still aligned.
The color still doesnt work and it is probably a defective color cartridge.

SOURCE: Lexmark T62 Error 32- Unsupported print cartridge
Hi Sue,
Firstly, switch on the printer without a cartridge inside. Put in the old cartridge and if you get the Error 32, it could be poor contact. Clean the contacts in the printer (contact with the chip on the cartridge). If you don't get Error 32, there could be a problem with the chip contacts on the new OEM Lexmark cartridge or a faulty chip. As for other brands or remanufactured cartridges, it could be compatible parts they used. The chip and toner wheel have to be compatible.
Good luck.
