My garmin in nuvi 1350 will not charge it keeps saying the battery is low

Nuvi 1350 charges in 4 to 8 hours. If your Nuvi is not accepting a charge, you may have a loose or bad USB cable. Note that the Nuvi can be charged with a phone charger. Charging it with a connection to a computer moves charging time toward 8 hours and more towards infinity if you don't have the driver installed on the computer. Turn the Garmin off. If the driver ins installed in the coputer, plug the Garmin into the computer and then hold down the power button on the Garmin for 30 seconds.

I do not even know how to turn my Garmin nuvi 57 on, also how do I register this Garmin?

The power button is normally on the top of left corner of the bezel.
Make an account on Garmin, and there is an area for you to register your device there.

I have a new Garmin NUVI 57 LM. I have it plugged into my computer to charge. How long should it take to get charged?

Charging via a PC is not the quickest way to charge a GPS because many USB ports can not supply enough current, so the battery will take longer to charge. Using an AC adapter is a better way. Leaving the unit to charge over night should be fine. The way to tell if the GPS is fully charged is to look at the battery icon on the main screen of the GPS. It consists of 4 bars. 4 bars = fully charged. 3 bars = 75%, 2 bars = 50% and 1 bar = 25%.
