SOURCE: "Clear paper jam" error, but there is no jam!

Thanks, tried all the maintenance options including cleaning the rollers. What I have found worked very well was to bin the printer and purchase an HP model!

SOURCE: canon mx310 error code 6000

Error 6000 is a service call error, meaning that the printer needs to be taken into a canon authorized service facility for repair.

This is a line feed error, with the problem originating from the timing **** disk film or the printer's logic board.

SOURCE: canon pixma ip1980 service error 6000.. it flashes

you need to open the printer. it has sensors around it. the one that you need to check is in the left side when you are facing the printer. the one that is sensing the graduated circular part. Remove the left cover on the side. then remove the sensor with a philip screw driver and clean it. then place it back and turn your printer on. I hope to be of help to you. Let me know if this works. I did it on mine.

False paper jam error code 1311.

Don't shake printer. Check top panel front panel and rear panel. The switches have to click to reset so it all jaded to be opened regardless if you know there is no paper inside. Clean the paper dust with alcohol to get the paper dust off.

How to fix code 6000 mx922

The 6000 error is a generic internal error code. Unfortunately, it could mean one of many things. To resolve the 6001 error, please follow the following steps:

1. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord and USB cable.
2. Remove paper from the automatic sheet feeder (in the back).
3. Gently pull jammed paper out, if any.
3-1. If paper is visible from the ASF, use both hands to pull the paper out slowly.
3-2. If paper is visible from the paper output slot, use both hands to pull the paper out slowly.
4. If the paper tears and a piece of that remains inside the printer, open the printer cover and remove the paper from inside the printer.
5. Check ASF with a bright light to check for obstructions. Remove any if found.
6. Open the rear cover to check if the paper is jammed.
7. Pull out the cassette and check if the paper is jammed inside the cassette area.
8. Load paper back into the ASF or cassette.
9. Reconnect the power cord, turn on the printer and confirm that the Alarm light is off. (If there was any jammed paper remaining in the printer, the paper may be automatically ejected.)

If the above procedure does not resolve the error, the unit would require service:http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/page.action

Error 6000 Canon Pixma MX925 need help. I've tried unplugging, on-off etc, and nothing so far gets rid of the error message. Any suggestions??

I had this problem it turned out to be a paper jam I could see it sitting under the front rollers behind the ink cartridge transport.
I removed the back panel and then the transport cover exposing the paper. I then gently removed the paper. That sorted it no problems. PIXMA MG7520 Removing jammed paper cassette 1 automatic double sided...
