U might try refreshing your OS if possible. If not, start from scratch and reload the machine with a nice new OS environment.

If you have the newest OS you may need to upgrade the ram from 2g to 4g.

Nexus 7 slow and unresponsive

Do a factory reset. You will lose all data unless saved to SD card or Backes up to google. If that doesn't solve it then download 360 security from the play store and run it.

HP COMPAQ 6510b RUNS SOOO SLOW

My recommendation: Install XP.
Well, not that there actually something wrong, but it initially came with XP or Vista. It depends. HP puts it a XP. Check your MS Product key sticker.

It is a simply determination that the laptop just does not have a enough resources to run Win 7 effectively. How do I know, I am using an HP 2.3GHz with XP. I tried Win 7 awhile back and immediately removed it. If fact, I do clean install of XP at least once a year. I do test more software than most.

Here is my Slow Windows Machine! default fix.
  • Sounds like not enough resources such as RAM and CPU. Check Performance in Task-Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE).
  • Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. Startup tab and uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when you initiate.

Oh yea, in your case disable AREO, and u
se a virus protection with a smaller footprint. Like MS Security Essentials. My PC just couldn't handle McAfee or the likes.

well it sounds like you need either to reset your wireless router(little blue utton on the back of the router) or you need to clear your safari history/cashe.

Slow response time

When your MacBook is showing some performance issues, it can be caused by either hardware or system problems. If you don't want to pay for hardware upgrade, then try cleaning the system to improve the Macbook speed. Learn more here: http://www.speedupmacbook.com/
