Boot it up using the osx disk.

I would start by attempting too restart. If this does not fix it, open Disk Utility (Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility). From here click verify permissions and then verify disk. If either of those come up with errors, then click the corresponding solution (repair permissions or repair disk). This should solve any problems you are having, but if it does not, Insert the USB drive that your MacBook Air came with and reinstall the OS. Good Luck!

Does the Apple logo or the Pinwheel show on the screen?There is a problem with you OSX installation. Please boot from the Recovery partition (hold Cmd+R during the startup chime), and use Startup Disk to choose the correct hard drive to boot from. This means that the sensor of the lid is probably damaged or detecting a magnetic field somewhere. Somewhere on the left edge, if you hold a magnet, you will see the laptop go to sleep. Make sure there is no magnet close there. You can disable the laptop from going to sleep if it "sees" the lid closing. Make then only sure that you need to let the laptop sleep by yourself.

I would recommend getting an application called clean my mac, it will dig through your mac and trash unneccesary language files and what not, you can also use it to completely uninstall apps. Try:

1. Turn your MacBook Air off by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds.
2. Hold down one of the Shift keys and press the power button for a few seconds. Keep holding the shift key for about 1/2 minute. This will start the machine in "Safe Mode." It will check to make sure there are no errors on your hard drive and do other tasks to hopefully fix your problem.
3. Once you see your Desktop (if you do), click the Apple menu and click "Shutdown".
4. Start the computer normally by holding down the power button for a couple seconds.

If this doesn't work, you may need to reinstall the operating system. On a MacBook Air, that's a bit more complicated. You'll need either the external DVD drive (an optional purchase for the Air) or another computer. Your computer manual explains how to install software on that other computer (may or may not be necessary) so that you can use that computer's DVD drive to put the disc in and reinstall Mac OS X operating system.

You're confused. You can only use wireless printers if you have a wireless router. Additionally, do not use WPS, it is inherently insecure. Set the device up by hand.

Macbook Air has a different memory set up. The memory is soldered on to the logic board when the unit is built. As far as I know there are no direct memory upgrades developed yet for the MacBook Air. About your only option is to replace the logic board with one with 8 GB
