I have a Blyss WDH316DC dehumidifier with E3 in display. What does this mean?

What E3 Means? This is simply an error code with your dehumidifier please.

It s not clear whether you can attempt to reset your unit or fix it on yoir own. So sorry about this.

It appears yoir unit requires repair by a qualified dehumidifier service technician.

You can exploit the warranty if this is still valid. Simply return to point of purchase with your original receipt

DELONGHI DH300P E3

The E3 Code, indicates that the air intake filter needs to be removed and cleaned. Be sure the unit is OFF and unplugged before removing the filter. Filter cleaning should be performed at least once every two weeks, as part of Routine Maintenance.

An E 3 error code comes up and I don't have a manual to determine what the codes mean.

An E3 error code is a Sensor Shutdown Failure. You will need to contact Haier Customer Support for an explanation on which sensor it is and how to solve the problem.

Error code E3 on delonghi dehumidifier DH400P

Be Safe or don't do it....

On the side with the lint screen, remove the five screws holding the top panel in place. The sensor that needs to be checked in mounted on the radiator fins. Remove the sensor and 4 pin connector. With a pin, remove the loose fitting housing the "sensor"...a circuit board that "shorts" with condensation...check corrosion and look for component damage on the oft chance the circuit board was damaged by some inappropriate poking or mechanical failure. Reassemble and replace sensor...

For a short life span...or out of warranty and only at your risk (IF have significant other or kids or pets or human DNA... don't do this...) .. guide wire through screen notch and attach to outer screen. Build fortress around exposed sensor and talk to insurance agent for a special rider...seriously be careful.

Did you? Clean screen and GENTLY clean fins of lint, etc....(vacuum's brush head should do the trick...)

Taking all appropriate safety precautions.

Here's the 100,000 (yen) tip....with humidifier unplugged, hold down the power button (green button in lower center) and plug in the appliance.

Watch the LCD screen as it conducts a self test...and wha...lah!.

Should have a working humidifier!

(your welcome).

no really..."de nada". :"don't touch your moustache" "Doye toche moche"(?), "prego".

Delonghi Dehumidifier DE500P - Code E3

Hi Thomast5263,
I live in NJ and the nearest center is in CT. So you can imagine that I am not gonna to ship my unit! :-)
The one I got is from Hartford, CT Utility Electric Service: 860-246-7271; talk to Dana and he is very helpful. They charged me $25 and shipped me the part and it now works fine.
When I talked to Dana he sounded pretty sure it was the condensor sensor. Simply call Dana and tell him that you have an "E3" code. I do NOT know the part number or ID.
Don't open the unit until you get the new part ---- it will help you to identify the part to be replaced. After you get the part, make sure you mark down all the screws (they are not the same! so pay attention which one is where). There are two tabs on the top so be careful when get them separate apart ---- don't force it or you might break it. The sensor itself is attached/stuck in between the copper coils under a black cover. Plug another end to the control board and you are done. Apparently there are two kinds of plug-in end ---- the first part Dana shipped to me did not match the old part so he has to send me another one which worked.
The whole procedure is not that difficult, but when you are doing this the first time you just need to be patient to locate all the screws and sparate the covers. From my experience you do need to take all covers off, otherwise you can not see the part and the wire.
Good luck to you and let me know the good news!

Lost owners guide to delonghi dehumidifier de400p showing code of e3

I am searching for a resolution to the E3 code (same init) and happened upon this request. The manual can be downloaded from DeLonghi.com but that advises you to call the service center.
