I have a delongji DEM 10 dehumidifier and it keeps

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you Unless you are licensed and qualified professional, do not try to repair a dehumidifier by yourself. If your unit is running constantly yet there is no water in the tank, try lowering the temperature control. If the problem persists, there may be a problem within the refrigeration system. You may need to pull the filter and clean it. Also try wiping off the unit itself. When the water tank is full, the unit will shut off and will not run until the tank is emptied. The dehumidifier shuts off by a safety switch in the back of the unit. If the switch is not working properly, you may try manually pressing the button or slightly bending the switch.
Motor If the fan motor is damaged or will not work, no cool air will be coming out of the dehumidifier. The unit, however, may still run. You may need to replace the motor. If the coils in the back of the dehumidifier constantly freeze, try turning off the unit for an hour or re-locating the unit to a higher position to allow the room to heat up. If your water tank is constantly full and you are emptying it on a daily basis, you may have a water leak somewhere in the room with the dehumidifier.

After running for awhile the pump light starts blinking and the drain tube is not bent ?

Sounds like the plumbing is obstructed somewhere, try looking upstream as well as downstream of the pump. A very small piece of crud can cause a clot or embolism in the narrow channel. You might try blowing out the system with compressed air, but beware of getting showered with dehumidifier crud!

    E3 ERROR

Be Safe or don't do it....

On the side with the lint screen, remove the five screws holding the top panel in place. The sensor that needs to be checked in mounted on the radiator fins. Remove the sensor and 4 pin connector. With a pin, remove the loose fitting housing the "sensor"...a circuit board that "shorts" with condensation...check corrosion and look for component damage on the oft chance the circuit board was damaged by some inappropriate poking or mechanical failure. Reassemble and replace sensor...

For a short life span...or out of warranty and only at your risk (IF have significant other or kids or pets or human DNA... don't do this...) .. guide wire through screen notch and attach to outer screen. Build fortress around exposed sensor and talk to insurance agent for a special rider...seriously be careful.

Did you? Clean screen and GENTLY clean fins of lint, etc....(vacuum's brush head should do the trick...)

    Taking all appropriate safety precautions.

Here's the 100,000 (yen) tip....with humidifier unplugged, hold down the power button (green button in lower center) and plug in the appliance.

Watch the LCD screen as it conducts a self test...and wha...lah!.

    Should have a working humidifier!

Can't turn off blinking pump button. Do not want to use pump at all.

Sounds like an intermittent pump control button, keep trying and you might get it to switch. You could also try disconnecting entirely from power for a few hours, then plugging it in. I think that the humidifier power-up default is with the pump disabled.

My DeLonghi DD50PSC dehumidifies but the pump never comes on. Everything is ocnnected to the continuous draiining using the pump. Suggestions?

A blocked drain tube was the cause of the pump not working issue with this dehumidifier. I removed the back cover (5 screws on back, 1 screw on each side) and cleaned out the accumulated gunk in the small, clear reservoir on the back right. It took a little time using compressed air and pipe cleaners, but the effort ultimately worked.

Why does my dehumidifier pump water on to floor

Pump is defective. Is your pump light going on and off???If it is it means the pump is defective.I fiddled around with mine for a day and finally realized the pump is the culprit. So i stopped using the pump, which you can switch off on the panel...where it says pump. Finally I just drilled a hole into the continuously draining hole at the tank and put a tube into it and the problem got solved [email protected]
