Format the card first using a camera-supported file system.

My C182 kodak camera says internal memory full, and will not let me take a picture even with a good sim card in the camera. What do I do to make it take pictures?

Probably camera has it's own memory & it is full.
Look under settings for option to switch to SIM card for picture storage.

My camera will not accept the sd position under format. will only accept internal memory position.

You need to format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Once it is erased, your card should work properly.

I have a Kodak easyshare m320 which I recieved today. I bought an SD card to go with it because the internal memory is really small. Near the card port, it says it accepts SD cards, and it also says this...

First, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert the card and do the "format" thing again to optimize the card for the camera. Now, it should work properly.

My camera won't accept new 2GB SD card. Keep

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

My finepix A825 has a problem where it seems to default to internal memory. After taking 3 or 4 pictures it states the internal memory is full. However, when I insert a memory card the camera doesn't...

Are you trying to format the card in the camera? That's the accepted way. Go into the setup menu and find an entry for "reset"...try that. Try removing the card and battery...press all the buttons...insert the card and then the battery..try it. Remove the card and erase the pictures the camera says are in the internal memory.

The camera doesn't accept new memory card put into the camera

Sorry that this answer is far too late to be of use to you, but it may help others searching for advice with the same fault. I only stumbled across your unanswered question by accident.

8GB is an SDHC card. Your camera was designed to use the earlier SD cards instead with a maximum 1GB capacity.

Nikon Coolpix 5400

look into memory inserting slot if you see a bent pin, I doubt it, most likely something internal failed, as of now fixing the camera is not worth it unles Nikon fix it and most likely they will as this is possibly internal component failure, contact them and send it for a repair, they will give you estimate, if it is free or acceptable let them fix it if not garbage can will gladly accept it and move on.
