Every time I start up it goes to the initial set up screens, like when I first got it. How do I get out of this loop?

How to Set Up Your New Kindle Ebook Reader

It is called a boot loop. You need to get a recovery system, place it on sd and boot into recovery by pressing power home and back at tge same time... Alternatively boot in recovery and try wiping caches.... all of them.

What model is the phone?
Try Holding Power and Volume buttons instead and please mention the outcome here.

Hit escape button As soon as it starts to boot. This should take u to bios. Then scroll down til u find a boot in safe mode. Limited operations but u have a virus that's putting u into a loop.

Go from the Windows icon in the left bottom corner and into settings. From there you go to screen settings to adjust the time and themes

This is a factory reset, if this is what you want. But you will lose your dats and settings if not backed up.
Turn off the power and plug it in and unplug it after a few seconds. Then hold down the volume up and power button at the same time until the system recovery screen appears.
Scroll down to factory reset using the volume button and select using the power button. When the unit restarts it should be back at the initial start screen when you first got it.

This happened to my nieces HKC 7" Tablet and I held the Power button and the Home Button down for about 10 to 15 seconds and it reset everything and is still working to this day

If you cant get in on recovery mode there is little you can do - its hosed.

Take out any sdcard that may be in it and do a pin reset using the reset hole in the back of the tablet.

A pinkish tint is indication that the backlight tube inside the screen is not fully lit. But then it goes black - meaning the tube shut down? That part don't make much sense - it's certainly possible, though.

Replacing tubes is pretty surgical so I wouldn't recommend it. Replacing the screen should be pretty darn easy. A good, used screen should be pretty cheap on eBay, so that's where I'd start.
