Before I change carbs, I think I would change fuel lines. Also always use ethanol free fuel.....the ethanol will eat and clog your lines!

SOURCE: Husqvarna Model 141 Chainsaw Carb adjustment

The tool you need is available from Randy's Engine Repair, on his E-Bay store. The price is about $10., plus $3. shipping. Phone for Randy's is (937) 927-5665. It is usually busy.
Ebay item number is: 390025452838. Buy it online. I got mine about a week after I ordered it.

SOURCE: I have a husqvarna 55. I put in a new carb, coil,

If you are still having problems I would check or replace white grommet inserted into cylinder and connected to manifold, they have issues with breaking or blowing out. This model also has problems with the black intake boot not sealing around cylinder and manifold,an easy check by spraying a LITTLE carb cleaner around problem area.

How do I adjust the air gap on aignition coil on a husqvarna 240 chainsaw

Use an air gap tool. Clean the area where the coil mounts on the engine with emory cloth to make sure you get a good ground. install the coil and lightly tighten screws (just over finger tight) slide in the air gap tool and align the coil, make sure both legs of the coil are even on the tool. Snug the screws and recheck the gap.

Huskvarna 240 isnt getting any gas? there is spark

Carefully check the integrity of the gas line in the tank...make SURE the fuel filter is absolutely clean. If that's all OK, maybe you need a carb kit....try not to run ethanol gas if you can...it destorys small carbs on chainsaws.

Runs full throttle but dies when let off gas, carb new, plug new, fuel line new, ?

It could be as simple as carb adjustment,if it was a new carb it will be set at base settings, which is just intended for running the machine ready for fine tuning for individual machines, unfortunatly you need a special tool to make an adjustment, part no. 530035560, once you have this tool you need to unscrew the L screw on the carb to richen up the idle mixture.

My Husqvarna 128ld trimmer will run but only at low rpm. I cant find a tool to adjust the carb. If I choke it 1/2 it will run at higher rpm, I suspect a fuel problem. It started in an instant.

If it is a newer trimmer it has a little plastic deal on the adjustment screws to prevent adjusttment.(epa). You have to break that off then a screw driver will work. Some are tough, turn hi speed screw counter clockwise it will rev

My Husqy 141 runs then stops

Shaemeus forcing a fuel line and breaking the carburetor will certainly be more expensive than saw shop service. Take the saw in. Most are barbed fillings, if one is exceptionally difficult let the saw shop break it and pay for its replacement. While there ask them to demonstrate how to disconnect the line. I suspect rather than a blocked line you have a hole or crack in a line.

A tune up with hose replacement I estimate at $60 at a Stihl shop.
New plug, new fuel filter, pressure/vacuum tests, carburetor adjustment. Actually a pretty good deal, tune up ($40). ALL hose replacement ($20).

The carberater is leakin gas

hi mate you float is to high in the carb take the carb off and take the bottom casing off and adjust the float to the correct measurements in the manual if the float is too high it is allowing to much fuel in and so it will flow over the over flow and out the tubes it is simple puch the pin out and adjust the metal where the little valve is hanging onto with a pair of long nose pliers good luck
