Dell Inspiron 1525 cannot connect and says I need to turn on wireless capability using function key combination - what is it?

Hi,

The wireless radio combination should be the Fn+F2 keys to activate it. That is to hold down Fn and hit the F2 key.

Regards.

Where is the switch or function key combination to turn on wireless connection?

It's difficult to tell, but there seems to be a small switch on the front, that may activate the wireless connection. If that isn't it, you can usually access the modems through control panel, under 'network and internet,' and the wireless assistant, or possibly the network and sharing center; if the wireless modem is disabled, right clicking on the icon will usually give you an option to activate it, or you can connect to a network through the network and sharing center, as well as detecting networks, and that will tell you whether or not the thing is working.

Wireless conection

typically, there is a key combination to turn your wireless on and off. The combination is most often the FN key + F8. If you look at keys F1 thru F12, you will find a key that has a blue symbol that looks like a transmitting antenna. You will need to hit the FN key + the key with that symbol. I, too, have a similar problem, but the key combination is not working. I hope you don't have that problem.
