How do you use usb sticks?
1. Plug thumb drive or USB into the USB port on the laptop.
2. Go to My computer and see if you see "Removable Disk" if yes then you double click here and you will see the contents of the USB drive.
3. load something from the laptop or PC to the usb just drag document or program from PC drive to usb drive.
4.Go to site called "Ehow" to gain more information.
Note of caution donot just pull USB from the usb port it will erase all the information and the USB drive will then be rendered usless.
5. Remove USB in the proper manner that is goto the "task bar and look for the "safe to remove hardware" icon or go to the "my computer" icon select the "removable disk" icon ( right click) and the select "eject" if the drive is busy or a message comes up that it is then closed all programs associated to it and the "Eject" the drive and remove it from the USB port.

Web cam says to close other video streaming
I have an answer! I've tried many times to fix this problem on my
laptop, even talking to two dell reps in the process(which was
worthless). Finally I found the problem(for me, at least)- my webcam's
driver was not compatible. If you haven't tried this already, go to
your Device Manager, click the plus sign next to Imaging Devices, and
select Integrated Webcam. Right click that and select Update Driver
Software. I downloaded the latest driver it found and restarted my
computer, and miraculously my webcam central was back to normal. I hope
this helps you too!
Cannot log in, repeated message "User Profile" problem
You need a system repair disk so that you can boot up to a dos command prompt. Sometimes you might be able to get a command prompt from booting up in Safe Mode. Windows 8 and 10 have a startup repair that will allow you to get to a command prompt in the advanced options of the startup repair options. If you can get to a dos command prompt there is an hidden administrator account on all computers just for when a problem like this happens. You need to make the hidden administrator account active then you can sign on with it and go into the control panel and create a new user account with administrative rights (or as an administrator). You can then copy all your data from your old user account to the new user account that you created. You might get a message such as "you don't have permission to this account or folder'" when you try to copy you data from one to the other, just click ok and it will allow you to have permission. To activate the administrator account just type this at the dos command: net user administrator /active:yes (when you are done you just change yes to no and the account will be hidden again) but you can always leave it active.
Enable the Hidden Administrator Account on Windows 7 8 or 10
Laptop very slow
Try booting to safe mode by holding F8 when it starts. Depending on the operating system, this should bring up a menu that has options. Pick safe mode with networking. And see if that helps. If it does then you need to run Malwarebytes on it to see if that is one of the problems. www.malwarebytes.org

For Vista or Win 7
If your operating system is VISTA / Win 7, tap F8 key when you see the Dell logo. It will take you to advanced boot menu options which include `Repair your Computer'. Select that option and enter your password if asked, then you will see a list of options like `system restore', `command prompt', etc. The last option says Dell PC restore or something similar to that. Select that option and follow the screen.
Start the computer.
As the computer starts, press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.
Press the (Down Arrow) to select Repair Your Computer on the Advanced Boot Options menu, and then press Enter.
Specify the language settings that you want, and then click Next.
Log in as a user who has administrative credentials, and then click OK.
Click Dell Factory Image Restore.
In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, click Next.
Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.
Click Next. The computer is restored to the default factory configuration.
When the restore operation is completed, click Finish to restart the computer.
