Replace print cartridges, just in case. Unplug printer usb, reinstall software from disk and pplug printer only after reinstalling, this should fix it.
Once it is installed, it will be ready to print from internet.
OR add a printer Deskjet 990c and it will start printing.
Please click on Start---Control Panel----Printers and faxes----Add a printer----Add a local printer----
Select Use an exhisting port-----Please select LPT1 and under that select USB001
----Next----On left Select HP----
On right select HP Deskjet 990c series series series ----Next----Next----Select do not share this printer----Next----Print a test page----Finish
What internet browser are you using? this can have quite an influence on the printing, If you use internet explorer make sure you are using the latest version. With the lates version of IE you can select a print preview option try that and see if it is small print on the preview, this should tell us wether it is a printing problem or a driver issue,
