Blurry scans Hi..I'm getting blurry scans on my DR5010c. What do you think the problem is or if parts are failing? Is so what part would it be?

Try cleaning the reading module with Isopropyl alcohol. Dont use any solvent. Gently press the scanning module to see if there is enough spring action.

Scans now being printed out with a grey background. Light as it scans seems very dull ? failing

I think you have answered your own question, the hi intensity scanner light is failing, unless this is a high end scanner I would just replace it, this stuff is crazy cheap to buy for home use.

THE ALIGNMENT PAGE WONT SCAN

Hello,

If the data is blurry, then the alignment would not be successful.
Please check if the ink volume in the cartridges is > 30%.

Hi, my screen is blurry theres one verticle strip thats REALLY blurry, and then the rest of the screen is just fuzzy, how can i fix this problem?

My bet is the screen has failed. No big sweat.

Replace it from EBay or Amazon. There are videos on You Tube to show you how.
I really do not see another option. Sorry

My scanner always scans with blurry lines across scanned images from it

Hi,

I believe that you are trying to scan via HP solution center.
Did u tried scanning from Scanners and Cameras in control panel, and did u notice any lines?

If u get the same lines, we have to remove the USB Composite device and imaging device drivers.

1.Right click on MY computer ->Properties->Hardware->Device manager.

2.You will get Device manager window popping out.

3.Check for Imaging Devices, click on + sign, then u will see "hp photosmart c3100" right click on it and click Uninstall. Then, Scroll down to "Universal Serial BUS controllers".Click on the (+) sign.

4.Check for the "USB Composite Device" and right click on it, click Uninstall.(IMPORTANT NOTE:wE HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, TO KNOW WHETHER IS THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, RIGHT CLICK ON USB COMPOSITE DEVICE AND PROPERTIES,look for wat location says, Eg -LOCATION : HO DESKJET F300)

5.Disconnect the USB and reboot the PC.

6.Connect the USB after reboot, you will get popup "Found new hardware".Then the Drivers will be installed Automatically.

7.Try scanning. Please let me know after following the steps!

Scanning photos

i just had my CCD replaced before my warranty expired in Feb and it worked fine for a week. Now i'm getting a cyan line down all my negative scans. And since you can only scan negatives in one spot, I can't even use a diff part of the scanning surface to avoid this. Sounds like a downright cheap part and definitely can't do the job. Never buying an Epson again, esp since they closed down the repair center nearby.

Fuji A310 - Out of focus

hello. i think that pictures are blurry. Is it true ?, if so please check the front lens element. I suppose that you clean it regularly with cotton or any soft clothe. Actually all the lens elements are hi-brid when you clean the element with clothe so many times, there will be scratches on the element. that's why i think you get the blurry picture. Just check out the lens and if so you have to change the element or lens assy. so go to fuji shop. good luck..
