Yellow tint on a laserjet printer is typically a sign of ink cartridges running low. i would attempt to change those first, if that doesn't work, try cleaning your jets by wiping with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol (first remove ink cartridges so they dont get damaged. also, allow to dry completely before reinstalling ink)

I have a Christie LX100 Projector when projecting a white image there is some yellow tint. Is this something that can be fixed?

If the yellow tint is uniformly over the whole screen then try changing the video colour tint, hue, phase and other chroma related settings in the menu.

Yes, It could be either your video board or your dmd board, go to the service menu and if the yellow tint is still there, it's your dmd board, if not it will be your video board

Picture settings

Colorimetre HCFR software
AVC HD 709 calibration disk
Spyder2 colorimeter (I know most prefer the Eye-One meters, but the Spyder2 was available from my job at no cost)

Here are the settings:

PS3 Blu-Ray player

Output Format (HDMI): Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr (important!!! NOT RGB output)
BD 1080p 24hz Output (HDMI): On (this TV can reproduce video at 48hz for accurate 2:2 pulldown)
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super White (HDMI): On (not sure if this matters)

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.

Monitor displaying yellow tint

Try this. Worked for me immediately, including with PhotoShop

  1. Go to Color Management (in Vista, just click the Windows Orb / Start Search & type in Color Management)
  2. On Devices, select your display (repeat if you have multiple ones... at least I did). e.g., Syncmaster ....
  3. Check the box: Use my settings for this device
  4. Select any and all profiles you have and Remove them.
Check to see if that fixed it. You may need to restart. I didn't have to.

more info, and where I learned about it here:
