I have a canon imagerunner 330s copy machine. I'm getting uneven horizontal lines across my paper. It would seem that a roller needs cleaning, but I have run the roller cleaning option several times and it doesn't seem to do anything. Have you got any suggestions?

Canon ImageRUNNER 330s Auto Original paper Feeder does not work when copying. Seems not to be mechanical in origin.

If the devices (Rollers etc.) are misaligned, the paper feed will shift the sheets to one side or the other. If the paper tray is not true when inserted, the paper will be grabbed incorrectly and fed on an angle. I suggest you take apart the roller assembly and lay them out on a table. Look them over for defects. If any bits of paper are left in corners, etc., remove any debris. Wipe down the rubber rollers with rubbing alcohol and air dry. Make certain the rubber parts are NOT slick. Slick rollers will also mess up the paper intake or track movement along the way. I rub all rubber rollers with an very fine abrasive paper to remove the slickness, but I am careful not to damage them. Put the parts back in order. Check the alignment and do not FORCE parts when inserting them. All components should drop in easily and positively.

Obstructed copy

Typically when labels come off the paper, the get stuck on the Fuser (the heating rollers just as the paper exits the machine) Open up the printer and turn the round hand that you would clear a jam with, and look on the roller to see if they are stuck there.

They are also known to get stuck in the paper tray or pickup assembly. Follow the paper path through the machine and you will find them.

Good Luck

The copier copies but the paper stays in the machine

sounds like to me the fixing assempbly needs to be worked on. there could be a broken drive gear in the fixing assembly that is not turning the fuser rollers properly and is causing the copier to jam

Uneven copy quality- Canon Copier

If the toner isnt burned on paper it means that you have to change fixing roller bushings and fixing roller.
Because you have uneven pressure between fixing and press roller
