Cant change ink cartridge on my Epson C91

The ink cartridges on my Epson C91 are empty but the maintenance button will not allow me to remove them. When I go to print preferences to manually remove them by using the Ink Cartridge replacement utility, this option is greyed out, therefore am unable to get cartridges to move the replacement position.

Any suggestions ?

Cannot change ink. Turn on, and just unplug power when cartridge is moving. cartridge will stop not in parking position. Just move head by hand to replacement position.

How do I replace a nearly done black cartridge in my Epson SX100 it is hard to read the print

To change an empty ink cartridge on the Epson Stylus SX100, make sure that the printer is plugged in and turned on. Next lift the entire scanner unit (pull up from the center); make sure that the document cover is closed. The support arm should engage. Next press Stop (above the Copy button). The ink cartridge carrier should move so that the (first) empty cartridge moves to the spot with the droplet with a slash through it symbol. Press the tabs on the front and back of this cartridge and pull it straight up. Shake the new cartridge while it is still in the package. Then remove it from the packaging and remove the yellow tape without touching other parts of the cartridge. Slide this cartridge into the open slot and press down until you hear a click. Press Stop to advance the carrier to bring the next empty ink cartridge into the empty cartridge position. When done, lift up on the scanner unit and disengage the support arm by pushing it in towards the printer. Then lower the scanner unit. Press Stop again to get the printer to run through the maintenance step.

If you want to change the ink before the printer indicates it is out, you need to open the Epson Status monitor software. With a Windows OS, go to the Maintenance tab and find the Ink Replacement utility. Launch the utility and follow the on-screen directions and open the printer, as above. It this software isn't installed, then you need to check if the software is available for your OS. Install the software, if it is available. Please add a comment with the OS on the computer connected to the SX100 for more information.

I hope this helps.

How to Replace catridge epson stylus c43sx

Are any of the cartridges empty or not? Always replace the cartridges with the printer on.

If you do not have any low ink alerts, you need to enter the maintenance mode. Press the Maintenance button (has both an ink drop and a paper symbol) and the Power button at the same time. Then open the black printer cover (lift up).

If any cartridges are low or out, just lift up the printer cover. Then press the maintenance button. The cartridge carrier will move the empty cartridge to the replacement position. (If both cartridges are out or you are using the Maintenance mode, the cartridge carrier will move the black cartridge to the replacement position.) Lift up the cartridge clamp (at the back of the carrier for current cartridge to replace; it will rotate towards you.). Then lift the cartridge up; dispose of the empty cartridge. Unwrap your new cartridge and remove the yellow tape (do not touch the IC chip or remove the other tape from the cartridge). Push the new cartridge straight down into the carrier.

Close the cartridge clamp and press the maintenance button to move the color cartridge to the replacement position. Repeat the cartridge replacement steps above for that cartridge. Close the printer cover. Then press the Maintenance button again and wait while the printer charges the ink system.

For pictures to go with the steps, see http://support2.epson.net/manuals/english/ij/stylusc43/REF_G/INK_1.HTM .

I hope this helps.

I need step by step instructions showing how to change an ink cartridge on and Epson NX110 printer

If the printer is out of ink in one or more cartridges (the ink light is steady), then with the printer on, lift the scanner unit and use the support to prop it up. Press the Stop button and the (first) empty cartridge will line up with the No Ink symbol on the printer. Press Stop again and the next empty cartridge will be moved to this symbol. Continue to press Stop until the cartridge carrier moves to the ink replacement position (depends on how many cartridges are empty). This is on the right side of the printer. Wait for the cartridge carrier to stop moving. Do not touch the white cable while changing the ink.

Next remove the first ink cartridge by pressing the two tabs towards the center of cartridge and pulling it straight up. (One tab is close to you and the other is closest to the printer.) Take your new cartridge for the slot and shake it four or five times. Then remove the cartridge from the package. Do not touch the green chip. Remove the yellow tape from the bottom of the cartridge. Next rotate the cartridge so that the nozzle is down and facing towards the inside of the printer. Then push it straight down into the slot until it snaps into place. Repeat these steps for the rest of the empty cartridges.

Once all of the empty cartridges have been replaced, lift the scanner unit and push the support to fold it. Close the scanner unit. Press Stop to start charging the ink system. Wait until the Power light stops flashing and remains on before turning off the printer or sending a print job to the unit.

If the Ink light continues to flash, open the scanner unit and press Stop. Press down on the cartridges to make sure that they are completely seated in the cartridge carrier.

If the ink out light is flashing or not lit, you need to use the Epson Utility to change the ink. This is part of the full software from Epson. For Windows right click on the printer icon in the taskbar (bottom right of the screen). Then select Printer Settings and click on the Maintenance tab. For a Mac, open the Applications folder and open Epson Printer Utility 3. Select your printer (if you have several Epson printers listed). Then click OK. (You will need to launch the utility before you open the scanner unit.)

The documentation for the Epson NX110 is available here: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1663277658.1305218830@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceeadfdielfldicfngcfkmdhjidfmh.0&cookies=no&infoType=Doc&oid=128284&prodoid=63084353 .

I hope this helps.

Don't know how to change the ink cartlige

Hi

thank you for your query

Make sure the printer is on but not printing. Raise the printer cover, then press down the Maintenance button for six seconds until the print heads move to the center. Pull up the empty ink cartridge clamp all the way. The cartridge rises up from its holder and should be disposed. Unwrap the ink cartridges and remove ONLY the yellow tape seal from the black and color ink cartridge. If you accidently remove anything but the yellow seal you cannot use the cartridge or it will damage the printer. To install the new cartridge, tilt the ink cartridge forward slightly as you lower it into its holder. Hang the tabs at the back of the cartridge on the hooks on the holder clamps. Don't place the cartridge tabs under the hooks on the holder clamp; you may damage the clamp when you close it. Install the ink cartridge and press the Maintenance button to begin charging the ink delivery system. Charging takes about a minute and is complete when the power light stops flashing and the error light goes out

How do i change the ink cartridge on my epson cx6400?

I am assuming that you already have a replacement ink cartridge.
  • Make sure the printer is on.
  • If the LCD screen says that your ink cartridge is empty than
you can simply press the Color button (the button looks sorta like a diamond with a line in the middle of it).
  • If you wanna change the ink cartridge but the printer does not say that it is empty then
press the setup button, then press the top left button until Replace ink is displayed. Finally, press the Color button.

  • Lift up the scanner section
  • Wait for ink cartridge holder to move to replacement position then open its cover.
  • Identify which cartridge you want to replace. Press in the tab to release the cartridge, then lift straight out.
  • Before unwrapping the new cartridge, shake it gently four times. Then remove from wrapper.
  • Lower new cartridge into holder, press down firmly until clicks.
  • Close cartridge cover
  • Carefully lower the scanner section and press it down until it clicks
