Replacing a chain adjuster on 272XP Husqvarna.Sheared the bolt. Purchased the correct part.I cant make out how to put the plastic adjusting nut on the screw from pic in the manual.Lil help? thank you!

The square nut should slide into the housing to stop it from rotating. The nipple end should also fit into the case behind the protector plate.

Husqvarna 235 chainsaw won't start seems to be flooding have replaced carb and primer bulb

Try changing the air filter first as a dirty filter will cause an engine to flood and hard to start. Do this before you start tearing anything apart.

I have a husqvarna 272xp chainsaw, it starts but dies quickly was playing with carb setting and got it to keep running, but when idling it surges to high rpm for a few seconds and then goes back to normal,...

I'd guess at a dirty carb. If its been sitting the gas may have gone bad and clogged up the carb. Try spraying some carb cleaner in the mouth of the carb. It's possible that the idle is turned up too high to compensate for clogged ports in the carb. This is a possibility but not a guaranteed solution. Good luck.

Chain oiler

Depends on the vintage, turn the saw upside down and you can see a screw to turn, 3 settings, right under the clutch and shaft. use a screw driver if it is adjustable. I like to keep mine set on high, oil is cheaper that new chains and bars. Use a bar oil, not old used motor oil.
