As per the manual it is "In the event of a pick-up error, the document
was fed to the front registration sensors." Clean all the Sensors and try. Use isoproyl alcohol only.

SOURCE: Scanner command invalid in current state

I have not used CapturePerfect 3.0. Hope the scanner is just fine. Try count only mode to check if it is okay.

Uninstall Captureperfect. Run chkdsk/scandisk to check if OS is ok. Reinstall Captureperfect again and it should work.

SOURCE: Canon DR-2050C Scanner gets verticle line down image

I have the same issue with mine and there are 2 image sensors on this scanner. 1 in the back that you will see when you open the front that has a meteal shield covering the top half, and one in the fold out front that faces the inside. These are the "glass" sections everyone is refering to. Problem is, they are plexiglass, not glass and mine has a tiny scratch in the lens that is causing the line. This could be your problem. find the lens and use a LED flashlight to inspect your lens for scratches. If its scratched like mine, the entire module has to be replaced to fix it. The canon part number is MH7-7038 and they range from $125-$160 if you replace it yourself. The one in the front is easy to do, but the back one is a little tricky. Hope this helps. E. SOURCE: Paper tray at front of scanner will not lift.

Disconnect the scanner from the Comp, Try 'page counting'. If the papers go through, then you know feed mechanism is okay. if the tray is not lifting, then you have a problem. Use Qumatool software and check if the tray is lifting. If the scanner tray if lifting then the motor is okay, if not, the lifting motor may need a check. If the motor is okay, but tray not lifting means the sensor in the paper tray is faulty. Check this out.

Canon DR 6080 Error Code C01

The top cover is held in position by a small piece of plastic on both sides. Open the Left hand side cover and you will notice the catch with two screws. Unscrew them slightly push it down and tighten again. This should solve the problem.

I have a canon 6080 scanner. getting a error "no

Clean the two 'black dots' in the paper tray, just under the roller. They are actually paper sensors. Try 'page counting'. If this works, the scanner is okay. If the problem still persists, try reloading the scanning software.

My Canon 6080 does seem to be able to pick the fact that there is paper in the tray. the tray lifts but the on screen error tells me there is no paper in the tray. Any idea what this might be?

Clean the sensor area in the centre of the Paper tray thoroughly, use Isopropyl alcohol if required, but dont use any solvent. If the problem persists even after this you need to check the sensor.

Canon dr 6080 scanner is getting papers but i dont know where the scanned images are being saved and whether being saved or not?

What scanning software are you using? Once you initiate scan command, the software will ask for location (and format) where you want to save the files. After scanning, try & use 'Save as' command, by default it will go to where it is already saved. Alternatively, search for the file name under Windows.

Paper tray some times paper are not passong through

if you're using bargain paper try upgrading paper quality, it will feed more reliably! or try tapping the edges of your paper 'stack' on a flat surface and inserting it firmly into the feed slot - don't 'slam' it in!
good luck! (make sure the paper is inserted evenly)
