Yes, often it is not a paper jam but a fail of paper to feed out of the tray which the machine thinks it has a jam. Clean feed rollers with Windex, or alcohol. Check the paper tray to see if paper size panels are set to the correct position. portrait, landscape, width length ect.. Good luck.
Hello, first, do you copy from second drawer or bypass tray or first drawer?
Open the left door, in lower section open the paper cover. Now remove drawer. If You look from the left door side beneath the drum unit, you will see axis with 2 rollers, CLEAN them with alcohol or water by rubbing them, and dry them with dry cloth. Also if you look little closer beneath the axis with rollers you will see the two rollers ( grey, one above the other ) clean them also or replace them if the rubber on them are too smooth.
If the problem appears when copy from second drawer, i.e. A3, you need to replace the pick-up clutch!
If the problem appears when copy from bypass, clean the bypass feed roller.
Hi, You didnt wrote where it is the paper jam. Here are few common jams:
if the paper jams in fuser unit, do/check next:clean the paper delivery rollers ( when you open left door its two roller on axis beneath the drum ), check the sensor flapper beneath the drum unit if its worn out you need to replace it, does the paper comes out like bent in the roll? open fresh pack of the paper and try again it could be moisture fault.
the paper stucks in pickup section, clean the paper pickup, feed and separation roller, to do that remove paper drawer and you will be able to see the rollers on left inner side.Open the lower leftside door and check the paper senzor in the middle. You can apply some wd40 on spring of flapper or on left side bushing.
dadf jam, check for any paper leftovers and clean the paper pickup and feed rollers
hi... try to clean up your copier... usually dust accumulates inside the copier that's why paper inserted will always jam....always see to it that you copier is free from dust and other small particles that would cause your machine to get errors....
