Hello i have a Panasonic KX-T7420 phone. how do i listen to the messages? thanks

Which ones? A Pana brand VM has an access code of 165. Your personal messages are in your box, the system messages (General Delivery Mailbox) are in mailbox 998. When you dial 165, you're automatically in your box. Mailbox 998 has a special access code that you dial and use to retrieve messages. We try to prevent messages from being dropped into the GDM, but it happens.

I bought a home with the Panasonic KX-t7731 phone system installed. We have a new phone number. I am unable to set up voicemail (although voicemail answers) and I am unable to retrieve my messages. Help!

What's answering the calls, is it the Panasonic system or the central office? When you figure that out, and it's locally, then post back with the model number of your phone sytsem cabinet and whether you dial 107 or 115 ot get into voice mail, or the message is left in the central office.

I own a KX-TG5100 Expandable Phone System. How do I retrieve phone messages from the phone when I am away from home?

call your home number, and as soon as you hear your message, press the * (star) key, then you should get your messages...you may have to have the code, which is on the bottom of the phone.....usually 3-4 numbers...put the code in when prompted (or password)

How do I retrieve my phone messages when I'm away from home?

To quote from your manual:
http://www.fixya.com/support/p475286-panasonic_kx_tg5632_phone/manual-19838/page-41
Pages 41 - 42
The default remote code is 11 (two ones).
1 Dial your phone number from a touch tone phone.
2 After the greeting message starts (before it ends), enter your remote code.
The unit (then) plays back new messages.
After playing back new messages, the voice guidance starts.
3 Follow the voice guidance as necessary.
4 When finished, hang up.

We have a old cordless panasonic phone and we are away from home, we are curious to get our messages. But we never tried to do it. can you tell us how

most answering machines will allow you to get your messages by hitting "*" or "#" during the message portion of your call then entering a code (usually 0000 from mnf) if you have not changed your code this should work.

How do i retrieve telephone messages when away from home

A remote code must be entered to operate the system remotely. The factory code setting is "111" and you can set your own personal code by following the directions on page 31 of the phone system operating guide.

To check messages from a remote location, dial your number from any touch tone phone, enter your code after the greeting message begins, then follow the voice prompts.

Need the manual? You can download/print it here:

How do I retrieve messages on the Panasonic KX-T7030 phone?

  • Call into your mailbox (usually by dialing intercom 165)
  • Press 4, and 4 again (for "Incomplete call handling")
By default, three options are enabled:
    option #1: leave a message
    options #5: call the operator
option #6: return to top menu
  • Follow the audible prompts to disable options 5 and 6

Here are some other features you may need

  • Make sure your Auto Answer button is lit up, so you can receive intercom announcements, and respond hands-free.
  • Use the Call Forwarding (FWD) to send un-answered calls to another phone or to voicemail
  • Press BGM (or 1 on the touch-tone pad) for background music, if your system is equipped.
  • Use Absent Messages to show text messages on other people's phones when you are away.
  • Use System Call Waiting so your phone will ring even when you're on the phone. Press Intercom and dial 7311 to set it up, or 7310 to cancel.
  • Use Do Not Disturb (DND) when you don't want to receive calls. Press Intercom, press FWD/DND and dial 1 to activate, or 0 to cancel.
  • Press MESSAGE when you call a busy intercom number. This will turn on the MESSAGE light on the other phone, and the other person can tap that button to automatically call you back.
  • If you get a busy signal when you call an intercom number, you can signal the other person by dialing 1 (if that phone is programmed for System Call Waiting (above).
  • Dial 330 to make an announcement to all phones.
  • If you want your phone to automatically select an outside line when you pick up the handset, press PROGRAM, dial 99, dial 12, press STORE, press PROGRAM
