Changing the developer or developer compound on the M24 is a very complicated repair. If you are not a tech i would not recommend trying it as you will be disassembling the whole front of the printer chassis.

If you have a white stripe in only one color, then you might have a bad developer. Each color has its own developer

Changing the developer is not super easy. You'd have to remove the left cover, HV Power Supply board, then remove Image Unit and the Developer Frame, where all the Developers are mounted. Detach the feed hose for the Developer you want to change and release the Developer's 2 spring clips.
The attached photo shows old developers which have dead spots that would cause the missing stripes on prints.
When you have a sensor failure, you need to replace the black ATC sensor and recalibrate it. Another reason for sensor failure is you are not getting toner moved down to mix with the developer...the toner tube/auger spring could be clogged up or not functioning.
Also if you changed the developer housing when you changed the developer, you need to change the value to the new sensor # that comes with the housing.
Changing the developer is a procedure for service technicians to do. You might want to ask that question on copytechnet.com. There are Toshiba service technicians on that can help you with that.
