FO 5700 Won't print from memory

Hi, I have figured out how to manually print it from memory, but it's a real pain after a while. Is there a way for it to print the faxes automatically instead of having to go to:

Menu>Memory Reference>Print Memory List>Ok

then...

Menu>Memory Reference>Print Document> *enter TX/RX* > Ok

Problem has solved.

1. Issue: How do I print a document stored in memory?
   Solution: Print the received fax from memory - MX310
   Memory Reference Print faxes received from memory when ink is low or paper has run out or paper has jammed. It may be necessary to press to clear the error then attempt to print the fax from memory.
   1. Press , then press . [FAX SETTINGS] will appear at the top row.
      
      
   2. Use to select [MEMORY REFERENCE].
      
      
   3. Press .
      
      
   4. Use to select [PRINT DOCUMENT] or [DELETE DOCUMENT].
      
      If you select [PRINT DOCUMENT]:
      
      1. Press .
         
      2. Use to select the transaction number (TX/RX NO.) of the document you want to print, or enter the number using the numeric buttons. If you are unsure of the transaction number, print the MEMORY LIST
         Press .
         
      3. Use[ ] to select to print the first page only, or use [ ] to select to print all pages of the document. (Received faxes begin at 5001. Faxes waiting to be transmitted start at 0001.)
         
      4. Press .
         
      5. To print another document, return to step 4b, or to finish printing, go to step 5.
         
         If you select [DELETE DOCUMENT]:
         
      6. Press .
         
      7. Use to select the transaction number (TX/RX NO.) of the document you want to delete, or enter the number using the numeric buttons.
         
      8. Press .
         
      9. Use [ ] to select to delete document, or use [ ] to select not to delete the document.
         
      10. Press . To delete another document, return to step 4g, or to finish deleting, go to step 5.

It's gone forever, once your machine received a EOT (end of transmission signal), your fax machine thinks it was received OK and clears it from memory.

Do the following:

1. Make sure that the memory does not have any faxes in it waiting to be sent if so send them.
2. Make sure that the memory does not contain any received faxes still waiting to be printed if so print them.
3. Use the HP ToolboxFX Fax tab to perform fax tasks from the computer. The Fax tab contains links to the following main pages:
● Fax Tasks. Perform such tasks as sending a fax or clearing the fax memory.
● Fax Data Properties. Manage the space used to store faxes on a computer. These settings apply only if you have chosen to send or receive faxes remotely from the computer.

Enhanced I/O
The enhanced I/O (EIO) feature allows all-in-one memory to be used for storing data received from the
host computer. When EIO is enabled, more data can be sent to the all-in-one in shorter amounts of time
so that the user can return to the software program more quickly. The

EIO feature has the followingoptions:
● Auto. The all-in-one uses EIO memory allocation to increase the speed of data transfer from the host computer to the all-in-one, if necessary. The default setting is Auto.
● Off. The minimum amount of all-in-one memory is used to store data that is sent from the host computer.
● Page Protect. The formatter creates the entire page image in page-buffer memory before physically moving the media through the all-in-one. This process ensures that the entire page is printed.

You have sent a fax? Or you have received a fax.
If you have sent it, it's gone and can't be printed.
If you have received it, then you obviously have to put legal paper in the tray, and program the paper size in your system settings to tell the machine it is Legal paper in the tray. However, once again, if it has already printed the fax (likely on 2 pages) then it's gone from memory and can't be re-printed.

Not possible, only the last 50 transactions are stored...only fax numbers

You can try using the menu to lighten the fax, but if all received faxes are dark, you may be experiencing a weak scan light. try making a copy instead of fax (which essentially is a fax printed to yourself) if also dark, its certainly your scanning imager that's failing. If that's the case I would recommend replacing the entire machine. Parts are expensive, and its a difficult to service part yourself. Also you may find that toner costs alone may pay for the replacement machine over this unit.

Check and see if your fax has a power save button next to your LCD screen. Pressing it will store everything into memory or you could do a flash memory clear however you will lose everything that is stored in memory(RX and TX only). Press FUNCTION , 9,*,8,#,7 then press start, next press your # key to scroll to flash memory. Press start. This should fix it.

This issue occurs when the user sends a fax using the flatbed scanner. After the first page is scanned, a message is displayed asking if another page needs to be scanned. The user options are YES or NO.

• If the user chooses YES or NO and the fax starts to dial, they can safely press CANCEL without inducing the problem.
  
• If the user presses the CANCEL button instead of answering the question, all future received faxes will go to memory instead of printing out. NOTE: There is no direct means of recovering a lost fax, but unplugging the machine and reseating the power supply will restore normal operation. An error report will be printed and provide information about the lost fax, which may allow the user to contact the sender and request that the fax be sent again.

Press Function/Set, 8, 4.
2 Press Start.
3 Press Stop.
