To resolve the issue you'r facing with, you need to access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3.

This will reset the purge count value. Then the printer will restart, hopefully without the error code 4F.

no. you need a new ph.

To be honest: dont waist your money on that!

Its more reliable to buy a new mfc (with better technique!)

Your print head is stuffed. More expensive than new machine, Release your frustration with this unit by placing neatly in bin!

i can not print any documents it keeps coming up as Init unable 4f please help ?

Press menu then start mono (b/w) then 4x arrow-up-button. Machine will be in maintenance-mode: What error code does the display show off?
