Question about Maxtor Hard Drive
I had a problem with my computer and would like to dump all the information I have on my Maxtor and start over again. My disk says 2003 Maxtor Corp. Can you please help me???
You will need to format all the partitions on the disk to make free space. This will erase all of your data, so you will be able to use your disk at full capacity.
You can format your partitions via Windows Explorer, just right-click a partition and choose Format....
Be aware that if you format a system partition you will have to reinstall operating system.
