Acer Aspire 5920 realtek sound driver

Problem was very bad on my Acer laptop with realtek sound system. I have found it is due to a timing issue. If I log in to quickly before the drivers have all fully loaded, I get no sound card detected. I have to wait until the log in screen appears, and all disk activity stops THEN log in to windows. Works now every time.

Select your operating system
Check your OS by right clicking on my computer and go to properties
It should be up the top e.g. Microsoft XP Professional
You might be selecting Vista 32 instead of 64
